This has got to be one of the worst KFC around. I love KFC but never order because my local one here in south Milwaukee is always out of everything. Haven't went in 2 years now. Went the other night after placing my order in the app. First when I got there the only lights on were the inside lights in the building. Went to the door and you could see no one inside and ovens not even on. Nothing else. Doors were locked at 6pm. Went to drive though even know I thought the store was closed considering the doors were locked and ovens empty, asked if my order was ready and was told. They had no chicken. No tender no fillets and on top of it no classic buckets. Like really. Asked to have the order cancelled so I wouldn't be charged. Was told I'd have to go though the app because it wasn't in-store. Couldn't place an order in store because store was locked. Couldn't cancel thought the app so I had to call an 800 number for a refund. Now called the 800 number for my refund which is ridiculous to begin with that I have to even call to do this. But now can't get my almost 50 dollars refunded till it's no longer pending in my bank. Store rep did apologize told me they're cook Never showed up so they had no food for the day other than famous bowls told me if I would like I could come pick my order up next day like who wants to do that. Just close this location down so something better can move in already. I'm so tired of having problems everytime I order. This KFC is about a mile.from my home. Normally I drive several miles away to go to the next closest KFC. Thats on Layton and Howell in Milwaukee WI. They always have my food and everything I ask for. Manager and staff always super friendly and will go over the top for you if you have to wait extra for your order. Guess I'll keep driving 5 miles there then the one mile to my closest location. Never called back. The 800 number just had my bank charge it back...
Read moreI've been to just about every kfc in Milwaukee and I can honestly say that this kfc is by far the worst kfc I've been to. I went here a few times, each time hoping that they would improve and meet expectations as the other KFCs in Milwaukee but I just get more and more disappointed each time.
I came to the drive thru at about 11:30am, no cars in line and before I even said anything, they told me to wait for a bit. I said sure, thinking it'll be just a minute or 2. Literally 5 minutes later, they finally come back and took my order. I just wanted a bucket of chicken, 8 piece family meal, but whoever was on drive thru wasn't paying attention, kept making me repeat the order. 8 piece, extra crispy family meal. I was getting a bit irritated and totally forgot to tell them what sides I wanted and of course they dont even ask me what I wanted for the sides.
Pulled up to the window, gave me the drink, took my card and waited a good 5 minutes. They came back to tell me it'll be right up in a bit. I said sure, then she asked if she gave me my drink yet and I was like "uh yeah" like how can u be that forgetful with one customer and like 5 ppl working. Another 5 minutes passed and she finally came back with the food, I was thinking it's going to be fresh waiting this long right.
Wrong. I live literally 2 blocks from there and food was luke warm at best. They also gave me a 12 piece not 8 piece, not that I'm complaining but they clearly wasn't paying attention or just don't care about customer service but again, chicken wasnt fresh. Then of course we have the sides, 2 coleslaw and mashed potatoes with gravy. Like who the hell orders coleslaw, 2 sides at that.
In short, it was a terrible experience overall. Strongly advise not to waste your time and money...
Read moreI pulled into the parking lot and was sitting in my car checking a few texts before walking in. An employee came up to me to ask if I had just left the drive thru and forgot a rather large order. After I said no, I saw him walk up to every car in the parking lot without any luck, then walk back into the store. I should've recognized this as a warning sign, but I continued into the restaurant. After about 10 minutes of waiting without an acknowledgement that I was there, despite making eye contact with several employees working in the back, another employee finally walked up to the counter. Instead of asking if he could help me, he just stared, which was weird. After I placed the first item of my order, this employee began running around the kitchen, checking various drawers and cabinets. After a few minutes, he apparently found the tongs he was looking for and then disappeared. Another couple of minutes go by and he comes back up to the counter. He told me that they only have dark meat available. This was at 5:30 P.M. on a Tuesday evening. No option was given to me to wait for more white meat pieces to be cooked, just to choose dark meat or nothing. I chose nothing and got dinner from somewhere else. I suggest you...
