Friday 9/1/2023 12:45pm Watched as an elder man with cash only wanted to place an order and staff refused to take his order and instructed him to use self serve kiosk and use a debit/credit card. He explained he only had cash and they said they would not help him and walked away. Meanwhile, two teenagers walked in with only cash, and they were denied service. They stood there, waiting, trying to figure out what to do Restaurant was NOT busy inside or drive through…. After an extended period of time, I finally got my food , it was sitting on the counter for a while had no idea it was mine because you’re not given an order number from the kiosk but they’re calling out order numbers what’s up with that? First bite into my burrito. I find a foreign object. It was clear plastic with blue markings on it. Apparently I swallowed a piece of it. I took it up to the counter, and the manager approached me and I showed it to him and his response was “what is that ?” my response was I don’t know you tell me you guys made it . Then and an unpleasant employee that was refusing service to everybody came up and said something to the degree of all that’s just our plastic wrappers from the food, or at least, I think that’s what she said because her speech impediment was so poor nobody could understand her. Yes, sorry for picking on her. … then was complaining about it to the manager that same woman makes a new burrito and literally throws it across from her workstation onto the counter! I said you know what I don’t want any of your horrible food. Give me a refund in cash right now ! Then I started to lose it ! Although I did refrain from using profanity, I raise my voice, so everybody in the restaurant heard me, and I made sure everybody in the restaurant knew there was foreign objects in my food, and then went off on the manager about refusing to take orders from the other people, I described above and then complain about the quality of the restaurant. . The previous mentioned woman, then started arguing with me, saying “they don’t have time to take orders “. Astounded I fired back “that is your job. I don’t care how much time you have you are not busy it is your job to run registers and take orders. Customers were actually agreeing with me and making comments back at the staff.
They threw five dollars and change on the counter. I grab the money and I walked out. Customers were making comments in my favor and I said you know they think they’re worth $15-$20 an hour but this is the service you get

I will start this by saying the staff have always been kind when I go in, but kindness doesn't fix the issues this Taco Bell is facing. Experience 1 - went out to run some errands and ended up at taco bell, went inside and ordered from the kiosk. There were about 6 employees working in the kitchen. It took a full 20 minutes before I got my food as they seem to prioritize every new drive thru order before they even think of making anything for the people in the lobby. There were 4 other people in the lobby as well waiting for their food. After I finally got it and got home to eat, I find that I was given the wrong food and had to call the restaurant three times to get connected to someone to try and get it fixed. Experience 2. Was out at the Walmart next door and figured I should get something to eat, so I placed a mobile order. Drive into the drive thru and sit at the speaker for about 3 minutes before the employee acknowledges me on the intercom, but there are cars ahead of me so I don't stress. After she comes on the speaker after the "are you checking in with your app to earn rewards" message she goes "do you have an online order?" I say yes and she goes "I can't make it. I'm alone so I can't make anything" and then tells me I have to cancel it in the app. No sorry, and no food. We pull out of the drive thru and look through the windows and she is not alone, she's standing there with a man behind the counter. Experience 3. Went for a walk and as my current path takes me past the taco bell, I stop in for a refresher. Order at the kiosk and wait a full 10 minutes for an order of two drinks before I went to the counter to ask how long it would be. They were again prioritizing only the drive thru and no one in the lobby as I watched order after order head to the drive thru window. The employees also kept stopping to talk to each other. They were very apologetic and got me my items right away after I asked but 10 minutes for two drinks is ridiculous, and as their soda machine in the lobby was out of order I couldn't just ask for cups after I ordered and get them myself.

Read moreThe drive thru was very backed up and inside there were 5 people waiting for orders. The manager was just talking and complaining about an employee who wasn't even there and taking about time off schedules. We all heard the conversation and the negative things the manager was saying about one employee to other employees. They kept talking, which slowed them down even more, and not fulfilling orders. They just kept saying they was short staffed, and said they had to take care of the drive thru people first, so we had to wait. A lady wanted a refund due to a wait of over 20 minutes. The manager told the customer she wasnt able to give a refund even tho the order was done on the kiosk. So the manager finally started helping out after there was a huge backup inside and out. The customer who wanted a refund pointed out the employee touching his face. That customer verbally complained about having to wait so long for unclean food and said the manager did not seem competent to do her job. The manager finally started helping out with backed up orders. A male employee was wearing plastic gloves but was touching his hat and then his face, then saw him touching the shredded cheese with the same hand he touched his sweaty face with, all while the manager was talking a few feet away. There was garbage on the floor as well, that nobody was picking up. One person was there over 30 minutes, but he couldnt get his order cause they were so behind with drive thru orders. But then orders for mobile orders were being fulfilled and still people inside still were not getting there orders. Also one of the employees was cutting down hard on what looked like a tostada, cutting it in quarters, while holding the food in the air instead of doing it on the counter safely. Will not being coming here anymore. Won't risk getting sick from unclean food and then having to wait a very long time for food is just ridiculous.
