This summer, my husband and I enrolled our child in several camps, including Galileo, Community Sports Camp, and Club SciKidz. Without question, the most satisfying and enriching experience came from Club SciKidz, and it’s the one we would highly recommend and plan to sign up for again.
What sets Club SciKidz apart is the exceptional teaching quality, well-structured curriculum, and truly hands-on learning approach. Each day, the instructors introduce a science concept with a strong foundation of background knowledge before guiding students through building their own projects. This method not only fosters understanding but also encourages creativity and independent thinking.
We were especially fortunate to have Miss Hilary as our son’s teacher. She is energetic, warm, and deeply passionate about teaching. Each morning, she reviewed safety guidelines to ensure a secure learning environment, then dove into fascinating lessons about scientific principles and the inventors behind them. Whether it was teaching about potential and kinetic energy, the forces of gravity, or the science behind how the Earth spins, Miss Hilary made complex topics approachable and exciting.
She patiently worked with each student, checking for understanding and supporting them as they applied their knowledge through hands-on projects. Her ability to explain scientific terminology and demonstrate concepts clearly made a huge impact on our son’s engagement and curiosity. She even took time to review what the kids had learned before they left each day, reinforcing their learning and helping them retain key takeaways.
Thanks to Club SciKidz and Miss Hilary, our son gained not only knowledge but also a genuine excitement for science and engineering. We are truly grateful for this experience and will definitely be returning next summer. Highly...
Read moreWe are extremely happy enrolling our kid in Club Scikidz "Junior Physician" summer camp at Mountain View. It’s a 5 day camp where the kids are learning about bacteria (streaking on petri plates), microbes, DNA, Gray’s anatomy (heart, intestine etc.), skeletal system, vitamin C test, taste test, recipe for blood, hereditary gene/allele etc. in a super fun way. Ms. Saba and Mr. Praddy, their teachers are awesome and knowledgeable. They understand the kids very well and use super tactics to make this class so much fun, yet educational. I remember my daughter has been saying how they were taught about the recipe for blood. They used red candies for RBC, white tictacs for WBC, sprinkles for platelets and some oil for plasma. This is just one example and there are many more. I highly recommend to try this camp as this is well structured. Its not too expensive as well. My daughter is already started missing her teachers and the classmates and all they do to make this class so much fun and...
Read moreMy 8 year old attended their emergency medicine camp this year at Mountain View location. She absolutely loved the camp. She participated in activities like stitcking the wound, taking vitals, growing bacterias and identifying different types of fractures. Before starting an activity they were introduced to the topic in the class room which gave them good idea about the purpose of that activity. At the end of the camp, she got to present her projects in front of other kids and parents. Both the camp counselors were friendly and made sure kids are having fun while learning. Special shout-out to the camp owner, Mr. Sourav! My daughter missed dissection activity due to her doc appointment and she was really disappointed. Mr. Sourav was kind in understanding this and he made sure that she gets a chance to attend dissection next week with some other group.
I truly appreciate Scikidz team going above and beyond to make it a great experience for...
