I had services for the first time on 1/10 with Madi. I have never been more pleased with my hair, makeup and my treatment by the stylist! I had a photo shoot on 1/10 and was able to get an appoint with Madi the day before. She listened to what I wanted, wasn't scissor happy & applied my makeup for a natural look as requested. She did a color, cut & blowout. She also did my makeup the morning of and touched up my hair style. She has continued to be very helpful, giving me her personal cell and providing the brand names of products she used. I have never been more pleased with my hair stylist since my hair changed. It is thinning & having other post-post-menopasal issues. Finding a stylist and products had been challenging & disappointing. I LOVE my cut & color. Finally, a style I can do at home. I also LOVED my makeup for which I received compliments from my family. I happened to try this place out because I saw it on Groupon. I purchased the groupon and called to make an appointment immediately. They got me in for an appt the following morning!! I arrived and the shop was clean and classy. My stylist (tall blonde with an accent, I'm sorry I can't remember her name) was extremely friendly and personable! I showed her some pictures of what I wanted and I was not disappointed with the end result! She knew what she was doing and then made sure to educate me on how to get the same look at home with my own products and tools. I can say that it's the first time I've ever walked out of a salon 100% in love with my hair (I'm 35 so that's a huge compliment). Wanting a drastic change, I called Journey and set an appointment with Adila. She was recommended based on the fact that I wanted a pixie cut. Adila met me as soon as I walked in, first appointment on a Saturday. She was so nice! When I told her I wanted to hack off my 14" ponytail, she asked me several times if I was sure. She wanted to be sure I had thought it through. I was so glad for her genuine concern but when I said I'd thought about this for months, she helped me preserve my pony to donate. She chatted with me through the whole cut and styling and even gave me a short hair styling lesson! I appreciated her taking the extra steps because I very had my long hair since I was was 2!
