Let me tell you when you first walk in it was not bad. It looks nice, clean good selection of drinks. I had called beforehand to make sure that they had space and were not busy. I don’t want to come from work and trying to destress to be rushed out. So I got there tell them wha I would like it was called the (lounge manicure )which came with a scrub, warm towels and massage for 8 minutes. The first girl that I got was super sweet. She had braids. She made sure that I was comfortable. She agreed to how I wanted the gel remove from my nails, but then another customer came in without an appointment. They took my nail tech and put her with her because, no one else could do the design she wanted. By that time I had nine fingers wrapped in foils and acetone. She left and said someone else would do it. It had been a been minute and I told the new person hey she barely put it one, she didn’t understand what I was saying. She got someone else to translate and that lady said it’s OK she will do a good job don’t worry I said okay. She removed the foils and started filing with this big white file and it hurt so bad because the gel had not soften enough. I didn’t want to say anything because I don’t like complaining. She buffed so hard my nail beds started hurting and looked roughy and I still had gel left. I waited to what she would do next and she got up and came back with polish ready to paint. l said is that all. She couldn’t understand me and I noticed my nail beds looked bumpy and rough and asked if she could even them out. She called someone else to translate and then got the machine but by then my nails were hurting. She went to town with the machine by then I was exhausted just wanted to leave. I understand I look young it might not look like I have money. I wasn't dressed up, but I noticed a difference in how they acted with me and other people. She only cut the extra skin did not get my cuticle ready. She stands up and leaves. I see her walk out with her stuff and then another lady starts painting my nails. She had long nails on and did not wait for anything to dry from my base, polish to the top coat. I could see how thick my nail got by then I was ready to cry and just leave. They also kept smoking their vapes. I'm sorry but I don't...
Read moreI debated writing a review because I don't want this place found out. We have been to 3 places in the area in 3 years. I find a place I like, something changes, and we end up having to find a new place. The last place we went, was super bougie and nice but they didn't consult and question you to make sure you were getting exactly what you wanted. That brings me to Oasis. My daughter wanted a cute French manicure with some designs. The last bougie place used white tips not white paint. We go to Oasis, and the tech, Lina looks at the photo of what my daughter wants and goes into a very honest consultative type of conversation. Because they used a white tip and not paint, she is stuck with darker colors for her paint till the tips grow out. She could have charged us for a soak-off and full set. She could have just done the light color and left us with a cruddy look… she didn’t. She helped her pick a color and produced a plan to grow out the white tip and cut them down before school starts. AMAZING. The last place would constantly look at their clock. You felt like you were either being rushed or maybe they had something else to do. I get it… been there. This was less rushed. Everyone was super polite. I was offered a drink several times and our comfort was constantly checked. The owner even stopped and talked to us for quite a while to gather what we liked about the place or didn’t like… what they could do to make us more comfortable… the whole customer service experience that places seem to lack now. The cost was dang near the same as every place I have ever been. I don’t drink so I can’t report how their drinks are… sorry. They looked fully stocked though. Shout out to our nail techs, Lina and Lily, and the pedicure ARTISTS with the strongest hands,...
Read moreI will not be back at this location. I had my last set on for a while and wanted to get a fresh set. As I was getting my nails done, I was looking at the shape making sure they were how I liked them as I pay attention to detail and as a paying customer I want them right. I was explaining to the guy who was doing my nails that they were not even from the top from him filing them they were slanted. He told me “it doesn’t matter, you’ll have to come back in 2 weeks anyways” I told him “No, im paying for these I want them done right the first time”. He said wasn’t finished he’d go back and fix them so im still looking at them for him to fix anything. This man buffed my nails, got up and told another lady to paint my nails. She told me, make sure their right before I paint them, I told her what I explained to him about how they weren’t straight. He walks past and says something in another language, then went to lounge in a chair on his phone. Im really so sick of the blatant disrespect from the nail techs, im tired of my putting money into poor service of people who could care less. We really need to start getting services by our own people no matter what race you are because they clearly dont care. Im new to Texas and instead of trying to establish the longevity of a client you decided to give me a poor service but yet still expect for me to pay. I will not be back, I suggest everyone to take their Money and time else where. There are plenty of other nail salons in the area. Just because you offer a drink doesn’t mean you provide good customer service. I can teach you, if you need help! *AND his acrylic liquid was...
