We ordered our food from door dash and the whole order came wrong. I ordered the maple glazed donuts and I got the maple bacon donuts which I can’t eat because I can’t eat bacon. My friend ordered a bacon egg and cheese kolache that was sausage and she also ordered a cinnamon sugar donut and got a glazed cake donut. I got my refund from door dash and called to let the restaurant know that they had messed up the order and to check on their people and the owner got very angry and rude saying that she didn’t know what she could do for me and wouldn’t let me finish anything I was trying to say. I worked in the service industry for 11 years, half of that time as a chef and we have to help each other out when something like this happens because some people do ask for refunds and stuff when things like this happen. As a chef, when my food comes messed up, I always call the restaurant to let them know so that way they can fix the problem before they send out another bad order. The owner of this place needs to learn to listen instead of being rude and...
Read moreIt was the closest donut shop to my destination, Cy-Park HS. Figured it shouldn't be that bad bc it has a 4 star rating. Didn't like it. There's a $5 minimum when using debit/credit cards. Originally planned to buy just a water and donut holes. Cashier told me about the 5 dollar minimum in which she pointed me to the sign but you can barely read it. It needs to be bigger. So I said "Okay add a sausage and cheese kolache". She looked at me for a second and said, "that's not enough." So i asked for another one and had to ask "is that enough?" It was definitely not worth 5 dollars worth of stuff. The kolaches are small and don't have a lot of taste. I definitely would've enjoyed my purchase at Shipley's on HWY 6 instead. They have a 3 dollar minimum and their kolaches are twice the size of the ones i got here at Snowflake. Not...
Read moreThis place busy and I know why. Service was quick and pleasant. It's clean inside and spacious. Sat.morn. 9:30ish, got jalapeno/cheese kolache, ham/Swiss croissant, donut holes, red velvet and blueberry donuts. Obviously more than the $3 min(but that's no reason to take a point off), who buys 1 donut 😂?? Anyway, everything was fresh, soft, and so good 😋. I had only 2 jalapenos in my kolache but again, not enough to take a pt. away. The owner(I think)even suggested I try the spinach croissant next time. It looks like it could be dinner, but I'll be back for it. I ate half the donuts around 2pm and they were still soft(jeezz). And I ate the other half of the ham/swiss this morning. It was sooooo good and cheesy. I guess I'll be passing up Kolache Bar and moving...
