I was initially impressed with the friendly staff at this dog daycare, who warmly welcomed my grand fur baby and even remembered her name. The trial period started off great, with regular text updates and adorable pictures that kept me informed and reassured about her care.
However, things took a turn for the worse when I purchased two Valentine's Day photo packages. The photos were subpar compared to what was advertised, and I was particularly disappointed to find out that the video component, which was part of the package, was missing. I had been looking forward to seeing those special moments captured.
But what really concerned me was when I picked up my dog and noticed something was wrong with her eye. The staff seemed to be aware of the issue, but I wasn't informed until pickup time, which raised some red flags about communication. While they offered to cover a vet visit if the issue worsened, it did get worse, and I had to take her in for care.
When I spoke with the manager about the situation, she apologized and seemed unaware of the details. She assured me that she would send a check to cover the expenses. That was two months ago, and I'm still waiting to receive it.
Overall, while the staff's friendliness and initial communication were positives, the issues with the photo package, the handling of my dog's medical issue, and the follow-through on promises leave much to be desired. Hopefully, they'll work on improving these areas to provide better care and service for all their...
Read moreChanged rating from 5 to 2 stars due to on-going urine smell: We used to LOVE this place. The humans are GREAT (and they still are), but about a year ago, my dog started coming home drenched in urine EVERY SINGLE TIME. Itâs the kind of stink that only a $150+ professional grooming session (lasting over three hours) can fix. We NEVER had this problem during the first year of doggy daycare (and he's stay there for hours), and I think the outdoor pools are the culprit. Look, when you have different dogs dipping themselves in a tub of water â and theyâre not dried thoroughly â bacteria will grow, theyâll itch, and theyâll stink. We send our dog here to let him burn energy and to give us time to get work done at home. Now, itâs more of a chore to send him because I know Iâll spend another 3+ hours bathing and drying him after each visit. Please just get rid of the pools. Are they really necessary?? If it's too hot outside, the door to the inside section should be kept open, giving everyone an option to go where the temperature suits them best. And I donât think itâs a good idea to constantly spray water at dogs during outdoor play unless all the dogs are short-haired. Again, if the staff doesnât have the bandwidth to patiently blow-dry each and every dog, then itâs not worth involving water. I REALLY want to keep sending my dog here (because the people are great), so I hope they will consider...
Read moreTERRIBLE! I would never bring my dog or recommend bringing your pets here.
We had access to cameras and the entire time our dog was pretty much in dog jail. Everytime I would the camera she was in her âluxury suiteâ which was not luxury at all. I saw that she needed to go potty and no one let her out. Normally, she cries when she needs to go or will let it be known she needs to go. But no one took her out and she went potty (#2) in the room she was in.
As we arrived to pick her up.. she smelled like so much pee and her dog bed we brought smelled terrible like sheâs been peeing in her bed cause theyâre not letting her out or checking in on her. Also, she had poop in her butt like they just completely neglected her during her entire stay.
One of the workers in the front was saying they wash their beds at night but we picked her up at night and her bed was definitely not washed. It was just a horrible experience and a nightmare for pet parents. We did not feel at peace and to get her back smelling like pee and having pop on her butt was completely unprofessional and a pure example of animal neglect. DO NOT BRING...
