Tea Villa — Restaurant in Cypress

Sad to have to edit my original review with a negative one, but here goes.

I’ve been here 5 million times and I’ve gotten my teas with no ice or light ice. Like I’ve literally come like 3 times a week for the past 5-6 months. Tonight, I asked for tea with no ice (bc I didn’t want it to get watered down) and an employee just poured water in my tea to make up for the ice. Usually, they just tell me it won’t be full, they don’t just say ok coming right up and then literally pour tap water from a pitcher in my drink. That is so shady. If I don’t want ice, you think I want tap water??? I had to come back inside the store and ask her why my drink tasted watered down. Then she said “if you ask for no ice, we pour water from that pitcher in your drink to fill it up”.

Please be up front with your loyal customers and let them know, “if you want no ice, I can either fill it up part of the way or pour tap water in your drink” and allow them to make the choice. I have tons of filled up loyalty cards and key chains and send all of my family and friends here. That is crazyyy. I’m glad I tried it before I left the parking lot.

Got the rose lychee soda with strawberry jelly, tasted really good and jelly was fresh. A few slices of oranges and limes come with it at the top of the drink.

Orange and lime slices that came at the top of the drink looked old though. Especially the lime slice that was starting to turn grayish on the peel. Had to fish it out to remove from the drink after seeing how expired they looked. The soda drink itself and strawberry jelly were fresh though.

Had claw machine and some cute toys/merchandise for sale. Plenty of parking in the shared free parking lot.

Vegetarian options available. Halal friendly options available. Kid friendly and wheelchair accessible. Friendly staff with good customer service. Spacious + clean atmosphere and seating.

Do want to note the ratings and reviews may be skewed upward. This is because they give out a free keychain to customers as an incentive to giving them a five star rating and review after product purchases. You just need to fill out the review afterwards in front of them, while at the store.

The girl working at Tea Villa on 5/30/2025 from 4 to 5 pm was extremely condescending and rude. There was a mistake in our order when the initial guy cashier forgot to add an additional honey lychee green tea at 25% sugar. At this point there should have been two honey lychee green teas. One at regular sugar and one at 25% sugar. However we only received one drink. My family member didn’t realize the drink he received was 25% sugar and drank it. At this point I realized that they had forgotten to add the second honey lychee green tea. I let the girl worker know and she said we should have checked the label and saw that it was at 25% sugar in a very rude and condescending manner. I said he didn’t realize and we paid for a second honey lychee green tea. They re made the original honey lychee green tea at full sugar and we received the second order at 25% sugar. When I received the drinks a second time she pointed at the cup and said to read the label carefully in a very condescending manner.
