Verizon — Local services in Dahlonega

Yesterday 10 Feb 2025, I walked into this location at 6 PM for my appointment to switch my provider from T-Mobile to Verizon since the service at my workplace is terrible. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t start off great. The tall gentleman with long blonde hair at the front desk wasn’t very helpful he seemed rushed and all over the place given I was the only customer. Despite coming prepared with all the necessary information to make the process easier, I was met with, “Do you know the store hours? We close in an hour, and the service you’re requesting takes an hour to an hour and a half.” At that point, I could tell I wasn’t going to get much help.

Fast forward to today, I walked in around 4 PM and was greeted by Tyler. He was assisting another customer at the time, but as soon as he was available, he immediately came over, asked what I needed, and got straight to work. He assured me the process would take no more than 20 minutes a huge relief. Tyler handled everything efficiently, guided me through the verification process, and answered all my questions. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes with outstanding service and professionalism.

Been to a lot of cellphone stores in my travels and would have to say this location offered me the best experience I have had yet. My wife and I went on a Saturday afternoon, a time you would usually avoid due to heavy traffic, yet our wait was seemingly non existent. We were pleasantly greeted by Carrie with tremendous professionalism. We both felt she had an open ear for our thoughts, worked around our issues diligently, and offered an experience that quickly faded any predetermined stereotypes of cellphone sales in general. Between weighing decisions and granting personal experience her advice was a fine balance of logical, legitimate, and understanding. The honest character and genuine experience she presented to us made our purchase unbelievablely smooth and the absence of pressure gave us lead way to go home in complete confidence and reassurance that we made the right decisions. In the short time we spent in the store, we came out with new devices, an employee we know we can count on in the future, and the freedom to go home and enjoy our new purchase without stress. She even helped me with jumping my car after I found it dead upon our departure....

We had an amazing experience when we went into this store. We went in to upgrade 1 phone and Courtnie was our sales associate. She worked with us until we were able to upgrade 2 phones and with the phones we had we were in really good shape getting our cases etc. She spent over an hour with us and never seemed inpatient or like she was in a hurry. She was even able to help another customer while she was helping us! She had to order our screen covers and told us to come back in as soon as they came and she would put them on for us which she did and was very happy to do! I watched her interact with the customer she was with when we got there and it was an elder lady and she was so patient and sweet to that little lady! I have been with Verizon for a long time and have always had excellent customer service and Courtnie was definitely another I really enjoyed working with. And luckily she is right here in my home town so if I have any needs with my phones or my service she made us feel like we can go in anytime for any reason and she will be available to help...
