Walgreens — Local services in Dahlonega

I wish I could give this place no stars. Employees are rude and unhelpful. Went with my husband to pick up a prescription called in and verified by his Dr. We get there and it's not ready. No big deal, things happen. So, we ask for when would be a better time (which was about 2 hours away). We return to pick up and were told there was no prescription on record for us. They call the Dr to verify and say 30 mins it will be ready. We then call the Dr office and see what is going on. They inform us they've now spoken to them 3 times and don't understand what their issue is.We go run an errand and come back 30 mins later...again it's not ready. At this point we are seriously fed up and say we will just wait only to be very rudely informed we would probably be sitting there for 2 more hours! Why?! Guess what 2 hours later still no prescription ready. I could not believe it. And to top it all off they tried to say it was the Dr office fault. After getting the Dr office on speaker phone and letting them know we know they lied the got really apologetic and said they'd do it right now...no thanks. We promptly pulled our records from them and will never be back. Allegedly, Walgreens is buying out all our local pharmacies. I'd rather drive to another city than ever give them my...

Poorest service ever! I had to drove around 4 times, they made me call my Dr answering service 3 timrs to please this incompetent crew & it took from 3:30pm to 5pm JUST to get 1 prescription! I handed my Driver License and Ins card thru window first time around but this immature girl still asked me my birthdate & address! I stopped using them when the pharmacist let a student who begged to mix up my COVID 19 vaccine go mix the 2 vials and I almost died within 3 hours. Lost my vision witching 30 minutes, went to cardiologist & having all new heart ailments ever since 10-202-! Reported them....

Every time I come here staff is so rude. They even withheld my prescription which is just a standard medication, it’s not a pain medicine or anything that is addictive/could cause an overdose. They insisted on calling my doctor even though she had just talked to them the day before. I’ve now been without my medication for two days.
