Sam Moon Dallas — Local services in Dallas

Pros: I found THE coolest novelty purse here! My family had a good time looking around at the items. A big variety of fun stuff.

Cons: There were some very rude gentlemen workers who were constantly scolding, following and just being unkind to my family members. My sister and mother were looking through the purses--there is no sign that says you cannot handle or look through the purses displayed and he kept coming over to tell her off, even when they explained they just wanted to make sure if there were more colors or if they could get a packaged rather than display bag. He then followed my family around for a while, kept making my father move out of the way when he could have walked around us, until my sister finally got fed up and firmly told him she didn't want to go to a different area like he seemed to be prompting us. Finally he left us alone, but my sister informed me later another male worker was acting similarly toward them. For the most part, aside from the one guy, no one interacted much with my dad and I and the female workers were kind enough when checking out our items. The purses are pricier than I expected though most likely still well under department store prices.

The store is great but the rude treatment was a major turn-off. Not sure I'll visit anytime soon if that's how we are being treated when wanting to purchase something from the store. I do think this is a great place to get unique finds. I would like to be treated with respect, especially toward my parents who are older than that worker was. Being from a similar culture, it felt very rude for him to act that way toward my parents. I am not asking for much, just a gentle notice if we are not supposed to do something (or a sign or both) and to let us shop in...

Guys this is my personal opinion may be other can share if this a common for Sam Moon and other shops nearby common parking issue. Over the weekend I went to Sam moon for purchasing I parked in common parking lot safely, After shopping when I came back I see a big dent on my Honda civic car on the trunk I have attached some details for reference. I called 911 waited for more than 2 hour, No Cop turned out for inspection, I called multiple times asked to patch me with the Cop so that can coordinate about the direction, I tried contacting 911 they say there is no ETA when someone will inspect it’s your personal choice either to leave that place or can wait but there is no ETA.

I checked with Sam moon security person they say there is no CCTV Camera outside only inside and they can’t help on this contact 911. There is one more strange thing on checking other shop personally about the CCTV Camera, No one turned out and say anything about it, looks like there is no provision they have made to make this place safe.

Looks like this whole dram will put a big hole into my pocket from 1000 to 500 $ as insurance deductible...

I bought a dress for a special occasion from this store. It was an out of town trip and they didn't have dressing room to make sure it worked but it was a simple dress that would have been perfect had the sewing been done correctly... There was an obvious major issue with this dress and I didn't notice for 5 days past the 30. I.was terribly upset when I found out and I was out of town for the special occasion. Honestly had it been a $15.00 dress I would have donated it but it was $55.00 so I took it back for a refund suggesting I get store credit seeing as it was past the return date but because it was an above than average reason as opposed to (I didn't like it) I had hopes of being helped and refunded in some way. I was wrong... And obviously a little intimidating considering the "manager" wouldn't even tell me herself no.... She wouldn't come out from the back to simply talk to me and see my reasons for herself. I gave them the dress and told them to trash is cause that is the onlymm. the meats but. Blocked to see it hanging for sell in there...
