Our waitress named COCO (her real name is Koquina D.) was unbelievably manipulative and disrespectful in her attempts to guilt trip my daughter for Coco's bad service. My daughter was having a bad day already, so I decided to take her to IHOP to cheer her up. Not even a second into her service, Coco decided to inform us she doesn't speak Spanish. My daughter and I are bilingual, and we realized that Coco jumped to the conclusion that because we're both Hispanic, we didn't know English. Coco then proceeded to make a comment on my daughter's appearance, telling her that she looked angry, my daughter decided to brush the comment off, but because Coco didn't get the response she wanted, she then decided to make things worse. Coco kept making mistakes all through out the service, telling my daughter that it was her fault that she was making mistakes because she wasn't communicating what she wanted to order properly. We have been coming here for years, we KNOW what's on the menu, and how to order what we want. Worst of all, my daughter ended up paying for the check because she didn't want me to pay for the horrible service. After that, Coco started giving my daughter the silent treatment, only nodding and staring at my daughter, and not responding to anything my daughter was saying to her. In the next table she was also serving at, she was suddenly being very loud and cheery to the people sitting there, to show us her disdain against us. I told my daughter to give her a zero dollar tip, but my daughter ended up tipping her anyway because she didn't want to leave her with nothing for the service. How does Coco show her appreciation? By not saying thank you of course, and by forgetting the water that my daughter ordered on top of that, and quickly dismissing us by half-heartedly saying "have a good day."    Read moreI ordered a plain cheddar cheese omelette (To-go) at 8:36pm on March 30, 2025 for my 13 year old daughter at IHOP at 2825 Forest Lane, Dallas, TX 75234 (my daughter lives in Dallas). AFTER I got home to my house in Burleson, TX, (2 hours later), I found out IHOP messed up this order and they gave us some kind of bacon or meat lover's omelette and my kid didn't eat this because she doesn't eat meat. She only eats eggs or fish. I drove back to this IHOP (with my daughter) on Friday April 11, 2025 at about 6:20pm. I showed them this photo and explained I only come to Dallas once every 2 weeks which is why I didn't come back for 12 days. The IHOP basically said "we will not make that omelette again for you". There was no manager there at all. The girl I spoke with...I gave her my receipt from March 30 and I gave her a photo of the order that was messed up and it literally took her 15 minutes before she understood I came to get this food fixed. She ACTUALLY asked me to pay for the new food even though I told her all I want is that they make (1) cheddar cheese omelette like I already paid for and this girl gave me every excuse in the book not to just re-make this food. When I bought this food on Sunday night at 8:36pm, the store WAS NOT busy at all. The guy who gave me my food on that day had a big smile on his face (he acted professional but he did not bother to check the order at all.) I even asked the girl "Should I just report this into Google Reviews? and she said YES PLEASE DO THAT. She literally told me to my face they prefer a bad review rather than simply fix my order. (my daughter watched the entire conversation). I even told my child "See this is how the real world works". I was willing to write a 5-STAR REVIEW if all they did was just fix my order that I already paid for and they basically told me "screw you"...
   Read moreWe actually left the IHOP on Northwest highway to drive all the way to eat at this one on Forest because it was so hot at the other one AC was great here however the food came out cold at different times didn't receive certain things that we let them know was missing up to 10 to 20 minutes at a time servers did not care after you asked them to refill your drink or bring you something else you had to wait or they forgot I had to get up like five different times to remind them it was on a Sunday and it was not busy even took forever to get my ticket taking care of so me and my family could go. I informed the manager of everything that had been wrong throughout our visit and he could care less he looked at me crazy had a foul look on his face plus you can hear him cussing with other staff in the kitchen servers do not care here one boy was being polite throughout our meal but after 5 or more mistakes I think he was just being sarcastic. We never lost our cool but I feel like I should forewarn other people who want to come with their families and meet here the service was bad, the food was just as bad. Perhaps New Management could stir up a more positive atmosphere and care to serve customers better and cooks that Will put an effort into their meals as well. Hope this helps somebody.
