Update 2: I mean aggressive in your responses not that night… Also, your back and forth with patrons and their experiences is bewildering. I gave MY opinion on MY experiences. As everyone is entitled to do. I did not lie. I WOULD NOT care if this wasn’t an alleged “minority” own/ran business. I DID NOT like the treatment, and Mr. Mitchell, Mr. Joseph, or Sky, that is ok it’s my opinion. Like you have stated, you served 1000’s of patrons and I wish you continued success. However, I DID NOT LIKE the way I was treated. And yes, clients CAN and DO leave comments and reviews if they do not like the retainer structure BECAUSE it’s their prerogative to do so. No we didn’t call before we came just wanted to try the food as it looked good on google :)… Unfortunately, things went downhill. Your policies were not written anywhere for us to see them and then they were explained horribly… The waiter quoted us a spend limit which was reasonable but your hostess doubled it.

Well you can continue to respond and attempt to diminish someone feelings on their treatment. I do not have the time to continue with you. Do better, this is a horrible look on your business.

Update: The owner, Mr. Mitchell, is highly aggressive AND upset because of their business practices. Not one lie was told. We were not upset about security doing their job, we were disturbed at the fact that we were quoted 240 dollars to eat dinner. When we simply just wanted to get some food and go home. Im assuming you weren’t at these establishments when the events took place and you are hearing this from staff so instead of pointing fingers at patrons for how your staff decided to treat them you should attempt to understand their experiences. At least, that’s what good business owners do.

Went there on a late lunch date with my husband. Initially going in, my spider senses went off. There was no one there. 1:30p.m. we walked to the bar because all the tables were reserved. The cashier then told us that was for later. Ok. We stayed at the bar. We ordered. I ordered the wings and fries. 8pcs. I asked to verify if they were whole wings or wing dings. She said whole wings. I even went further to insure she understood the difference. She said whole wings. No, 4 wings into a drummettes and the flats with tip attached. My husband ordered the oxtail pasta. Neither of our meals were to my satisfaction. The wings were as if they were leftover from a day or two before, dry , hard and dredged in sauce. The oxtail pasta, same. Leftover oxtails not moist at all. I was seriously disappointed after realizing this was supposed to be a Caribbean spot. The menu, minimal. The flavors of our meals, flavor-lite. The atmosphere, bland. The only pleasing item was the clean bathroom. Shame shame shame. We will Not return. If you decide to go, do not pay in cash. A patron ordered to go and payed in cash which required change only to be told we don't give change but only in paper. Her change was .92. She was not told this upfront and...
