Out 5 stars i give 2.5 Stars. Im in the middle. I traveled from Dallas to Durango. To my understanding it was supposed to be non stop from dallas to Dgo but it stopped several times. Bus was left 30 min after scheduled 10am. They let you bring two medium/large suitcases charge you $1.00 per pound extra. Not sure when is the limit since I didnât have extra. First stop after leaving dallas terminal was Fort worth in la gran plaza. Second stop: Waco Third Stop: Austin
Fourth Stop: San Marcos (for lunch) they stopped in Taqueria Mazatlan who offers mexican buffet or menu items. Food was just ok. When I was paying I notice cashier handed $40 to bus driver. I guess for bringing customers. đ€·đœââïž
Fifth Stop: San Antonio Sixth Stop: Natalia Tx (to refill Diesel)
Right before leaving This gas station something interesting happens. I even have a video recording. Santiago Express Driver starts explaining that next stop is the border in mexico (piedras negras) and if we want to cross quicker so we wont be searched by mexican migration we need to pitch in $25 per adult and $10 per kid. After he explains he starts driving and makes one of the travelers to start the collection and gives them a list of the seats and the name of everyone in them. So is very obvious they have some kind of connection with someone in that bridge that the santiago busses are not getting searched (which is called corruption) is not my business to judge but im not blind either. Is very convenient to not come down the bus and open your luggage to be searched, still you are being part of the corruption.
Once getting to the border, Mexican migration officials they just go up the bus and go to the restroom in the back and then they get down. They dont say a word to anybody, dont ask for anybodyâs documents. Just pretending to search.
After. in the second search. Then they ask you who is American citizen, if you say yes they will ask you for $20 or you have to show temporary permit to be in mexico.
After this I fell asleep, bus drives to Saltillo in a bumpy state road(not toll paid ones) then torreon to Durango in toll road. We got to...

Read moreWrost bus service ever i would never ride with them again. This doesnât even deserve a one star . I left from Francisco I. Madero in a nice bus and end up switching to a bus that was humid , uncomfortable, and smelly the whole ride . That bus was not worth $130 . If they are gonna charge $130 I would had expected all there buses to be the same . The first bus was amazing but it was going to a different stop and if we would had stayed on that bus I would not be writing this comment . Iâm not a picky person I can care less where Iâm riding . I always ride with Durango tours . But they donât travel during the week . Reason why I decided to take this bus service ....
