As soon as we walked in an employee was yelling at another employee and shortly after left. It still took a moment to seat us because they were too busy discussing the situation, we almost left when someone finally came and hosted not greeted us! (as a customers service employee you should at least look the part be presentable not like you just hopped out of bed and went to work). After we were seated the waitress tried to hurry and take our orders and upon waiting for our orders it was still a lot of loud talk about the situation that occurred prior between employees. It took so long to get our orders and it was given to us bit by bit I ordered the cinnamon bun crepes (2) the steak tips and a bowl of fruit. I got the steak tips first shortly after my crepes she asked me if we wanted anything else I asked for steak sauce, butter pecan syrup and my bowl of fruit, I thought she would bring that shortly after but no luck she went and service another table, (during all this time I watched the door and many times people came in and wasn't hosted/greated or ended up leaving because they waiting so long and the waitress looked at them several times the manager on the floor was doing the same) seeing she was busy and my food was cold by this time, I eventually got up and started looking for my own sauce and then the waitress seemed to finally notice me and followed me as if I was doing something wrong, she asked me what was I doing I said looking for steak sauce! With a bit of a fixed attitude she told me she would get it so I sat down when she handed it to me she asked me if I needed anything else I said butter pecan syrup and my bowl of fruit. Unfortunately I had to share my friends syrup and I got my fruit to go my food was cold and so was the service and the food wasn't that good the tips was chewy the fruit wasn't fresh after waiting and the crepes could've been better! I was really disappointed yet I took the food and paid for it I definitely wasn't leaving a tip; however the waitress took it upon herself to give her a tip I found out when the purchase hit the waitress added a $5 tip when I put 0 how dare you give yourself a tip that you didn't even earn or wasn't given to you. Then to add insult to injury I politely call up there spoke to the GM to tell them what happened and the GM told me they what get back to me! I have yet to hear from them after about two weeks letting me know that they condone thieves and it's okay to steal from the customers and they won't do anything about it to fix it! I gave them more than ample opportunity to get back to me! I Definitely won't be going back or recommending it to anyone, but I surely will let them know of this horrible...
Read moreThe worst IHOP in the Dallas Area - Glen Oak So I came here, despite multiple people telling me not to, because I was really craving pancakes. I just knew it couldn’t be as bad as people were making it seem. Turns out it was worse.
When I walked in the establishment I was greeted very rudely by the host, Dandre. I understand people have hard days, but I expect some sort of professionalism whenever I deal with any type of establishment. I already knew that I wanted a short stack, but Dandre basically shoved menus in my face and said that they changed the menu, so I would need to look at it. Extremely unprofessional and uncalled for.
Once he figured out that I only wanted the short stack he asked if I had any cash on me so I wouldn’t get charged for it. I was confused because, paying in cash is still paying for it. Turns out, he was just expecting me to give him a few dollars that he would KEEP FOR HIMSELF and just tell the cook to make the pancakes. I don’t even have words for that. I would gladly pay for my food in cash, but to he wanted me to give him cash that he would just pocket.. he is STEALING.
A few minutes later, he was on the phone with someone asking for cashapp names. I’m not one to assume anything so I will just say that he was talking to customers while being on the phone.
To make matters worse, the pancakes are old! They taste stale and rubbery as if they have been sitting out for days.
I don’t know why I even went against the multiple reviews and came here. At first I would just say fire Dandre and hire somebody that actually knows how to treat a customer, but apparently the cook also needs to be put into question.
Most importantly, I would suggest checking the cameras because one of your employees is stealing. I definitely won’t be returning to this...
Read moreStore #3418: disorderly and disgruntled. While I'm happy to entertain a wait while picking up an order, I consistently find that when I order pick up the wait is 20-35 minutes, and that's considering that I often wait to go pick up. Today my wife came to pick up an order and when she got home, she discovered that 3 items were missing. This has happened before, and is why we typically check our order before we leave. She returned to have the items replaced and was met with attitude, a lack of clear communication and a over 60 minute wait to have the items replaced She called at the 30 minute wait time, and I came to join her. The manager on duty could be seen staring at my wife from the kitchen kiosk, and did not speak with either of us. We're currently still waiting at the front desk, I've listened to my wife explain the situation to 3 employees, one stating that they are a manager. He didn't explain anything just nodded then went back to the kitchen. I've seen 3 tables of customers get up and leave while waiting on service. I will not ever purchase from this Ihop ever again. For reference my wife had a pick up time of 9:48 am, she returned at 11:15 am for the missing items, and it's 12:41 pm. This is absolutely unacceptable business. Update, the manage spoke to me at 12:55, explained that if my wife had "a better attitude... that she would've been helped." I explained that I needed a refund and that I don't understand why she would make my wife wait an hour for an order she has not started. She put her hand in my face and asked the customer behind me if they...
