I was looking for a forever stylist. When Logan examined my hair I was convinced he fully understood my hair. He talked about the texture and previous color being a concern for a texture curl style. His remedy was to apply a keratin treatment. However he didn’t utilize the product to its full potential. The end result is I have my same kinky afro that was set with mousse for curls. Basically hair that’s stiff and can’t be combed without springing back to an Afro. Bottom line the stylist didn’t realize you can’t style my hair without changing the texture of my hair. My natural hair is a kinky fro rolling it won’t change that. The salons offer to fix my locks is to reset my hair. A stiff hair style will simply result in kinky hair once it’s combed.

My profile photo is the result of a Brazilian blowout in the past. I won’t dare post a picture of my hair today after my very expensive visit to Ulta.

I want to believe that any skilled stylist can successfully style any hair type. Logan wants to own this skill set but has proven at my expense to be very wrong. I will never come back here. The customer service is extremely bad unless you're WHITE. I went in with my sister because she wanted to buy some makeup. When we walked in nobody greeted us. As we were waking in a group of white girls walked in and suddenly the cashiers start to greet. I didn't really mind it that much, but then my sister and I were walking around looking for some items that my sister needed and that's when we noticed some employees eyeing us with some weird stares and next thing you see is a security guests following us. I was by the perfumes testing a few because I wanted to see which perfume my mom would have liked since her birthday was coming up. The security guard was behind me pretending to be testing the perfumes which clearly she was not because she was just organizing them. I didn't think she was hired to organize. I felt a cold shoulder and I started to feel extremely uncomfortable. My sister and I decided to leave because not a single person offered us help until we were exiting the store. I booked a hair appointment with Kimberly E to straighten my daughters curly hair for her first day of school. When we arrived she came to approach my daughter with a hesitant look on her face and asked her what exactly did she want? My daughter replied and stated she wanted her hair straighten and curled. Kim paused and said I am going to real honest with you I am not going to be able to do your hair due to she has a health issue that can limit what you do. First of all why are you allowing yourself to get booked if that is the case. She then proceeds to ask her co-worker if she can do it and her co-worker states she would but she has a client in the chair. I am guessing since we overheard the conversation between them two there was nothing left for Kim to discuss with us. She never came back over to apologize for the inconvenience she caused. If it were noted under her profile that she deals with a issue that prevents her from doing certain hairstyles we never would have booked with her.
