I normally donât leave reviews, but I feel this needs to be addressed. The employees at this store often make customers feel uncomfortable while shopping and checking out. Even when using self-checkout, it feels like customers are not trustedâitems are checked and questioned even if nothing wrong has been done.
If you ask about a wrong price, instead of handling it politely, you are treated as if youâre lying. I have also heard from other parents that employees follow their children around the store. On top of that, if someone under 18 comes in with a backpack (even something like a mail-carrier style bag), they are not allowed to shop unless they leave it behind. This is unreasonable security cameras exist for a reason, and no child should be treated as a shoplifter just because theyâre carrying their belongings.
Whatâs disappointing is that there have been one or two really good employees in the pastâlike a young man who was always polite and respectfulâbut unfortunately, those good workers donât seem to stay. It feels like the âbad applesâ in the store push away the ones who actually make the shopping experience better.
Customers deserve respect, and I hope management takes this...
Read moreHoneslty I come here a lot because of conveinence. The main problem I have with the store is the employees who constantly watch me when Iâm paying for myself. I understand the possibility of theft but shouldnt employees have the benefit of doubt? Today, I had this 50-year old white lady with glasses and dirt blonde hair watching me scan every item I had. Also, she kept asking me questions about my items/bags/carts. Personally, I felt racially picked. There was two groups of white high school students at the self-pay station but this woman was eyeballing me from a close distance. She was standing on my right woth her arms folded in my direction. Iâm embarrassed and angry. Please ensure employees have taken discrimination training so that employees donât pick on...
Read moreWhen I went into Weis I was looking for something quick and easy to make for my sister to snack on after a flight. I asked an employee, Sharon , if Weis had gluten free pastry dough or gf croissants. She may have been the nicest employee Iâve ever come across in a Weis. In any grocery store for that matter. She took time to to go look with me. Spoke to the frozen food guy. Walked me to the gf section and asked the grocery manager. Unfortunately day didnât have it. But in all honesty at that point I donât really care because she really took the time to help me look for something that I needed. She didnât come across like I was a bother or it was too much to help me. I really want to thank her for being so kind and so nice. I wish there was more employees...
