Infinity Surfboards: proof that good things actually do reside on Del Prado (besides corporate coffee shops and high rise apartment buildings with underground parking garages).
Except, this place is the OG, it has been here much much long before the attempt to "Newport Dana Point".
Don’t get me wrong, I love a $15 latte as much as the next surfer trying to look awake at 6 a.m. before I paddle out at "assault creek" but walking into Infinity is like finding the real treasure chest of Dana Point.
The shop is packed wall-to-wall with boards that are priced fairly, and well made. The staff? Super friendly, and somehow they instantly knew the right board for me — like surfboard matchmakers who also happen to crack jokes and tell you which fin setup won’t make you cry on your first paddle out.
I walked in with every intention of just ‘browsing’ and walked out a true fan of the shop, vowing to return whenever I need gear or a board.

Read moreEvery time I've come to Infinity surfboards it's quick and the people that work there are always super helpful. I needed to buy a board bag for my longboard and I ordered it over the phone. Jeremy helped me, took my info, and said he'd likely call me Monday because he was temporarily out of the one I wanted. He followed through and was very professional. He made the purchase very easy for me. I've always had really good experiences visiting this surf shop. I bought a longboard here a few years ago, soft surf rack pads, and quite a few other things. You can't go wrong. Definitely worth visiting. Their surfboards are of the highest qualityand beautiful. They very much stand out compared to other surf shops that I've been to. Infinity has everything you need when it comes to surf and ocean sports. Thanks!...

Met the owner Steve who started Infinity in 1970, and he's still shaping boards! We had a great conversation about an old Gordie board I want to restore. Come to find out, Steve use to shape for Gordie in the 60's. He is FULL of knowledge and truly cares about customer satisfaction. It was a pleasure meeting him and talking with him. He gave us a Gordie sticker for free before we left. We're looking forward to having him get our old Gordie back to...
