Today I’m bringing you a two-part outing idea that is perfect for a Romantic Date or a Moms Night Out! Part 1: Start out with a short walk on the Dana Point Bluff Top Trail. This is a short .2 mile walk - you’ll spend most of your time enjoying the views! We prefer to park on Street of the Amber Lantern, the trail starts where this street ends. You can also access on Street of the Violet Lantern. Please note - there are a lot of stairs! This is not a stroller friendly trail. Part 2: Truly Pizza is a 5 minute walk from the trail, and has a stunning ambiance. The patio is covered in a lemon trellis and is warm and cozy even on a cool day. They also provide blankets, just in case you want extra warmth. We loved their garlic bread and unique pizzas, which have a micro blister crust that makes the exterior crunchy while the interior stays light, soft, and airy. We finished with their olive oil and sea salt soft serve ice cream, which was so delicious. Thanks to Truly Pizza for hosting us! I now have a new favorite spot to visit every time we are in Dana Point! Hope you can try out this outing sometime soon 🍕🍷

Another good place to walk about to enjoy nature and fresh air during this pandemic. The panoramic view of the harbor is just stunning. We actually visited the Bluff hiking trail and had a good time walking around. It was not really a hike but more of a cliff walk for the enjoyment of the public. Although short, the view was breathtaking. We saw a lot of people taking graduation photos there. With the harbor background, it’s a perfect spot for graduation pictures.

We took quite a bit of pictures ourselves. The best spot for picture taking is right in front of the three half circle wall with the harbor as the backdrop.

The trick to get there is to use this address : 34342 street of the Amber Lantern, Dana point and then park on the street. The entrance is a tiny gate...
