I have tried to get stone from Delta for 6 mos. 3 mos ago someone finally called me back and took me around the stone yard. I selected the stone I wanted that day. They said 6 weeks. No info for 8 weeks. Finally reached them and they hadn’t pulled any of the stone or cut it after approving their cuts weeks before. Then they said it would be another 4 weeks. Nothing. Then weeks later part of the job was ready, but all the sizes were cut wrong -not according to the plan we had approved. Now we are sending back what came and still waiting on a job they promised us months ago and have no stone and have paid a deposit months ago. I’ve never in all my years of building had anyone so unresponsive and unaccountable. It’s been the most stressful process considering it’s stone for my front steps and porch to my house, that has been torn up for months with the hopes they would come through. Chose a beautiful stone to have cut for my mother-in-law's headstone. It was big enough to have an extra stone for our yard (or for another headstone). Despite markings and confirmations of the cut, it was cut wrong, destroying the first stone. They chose a second stone for us, cut it, forgot to hone it. When they honed it and loaded it into our truck, right side up, we found a very large crack going through the middle of the stone which would not have allowed for the etching on the headstone. So it was useless.. Another failure. Stone #3- we chose ourselves. This time, smaller stone. Hence, no large cut needed, to avoid screw ups. Despite the screw ups #1 and #2 and the fact that now we will only have one finished stone, not two, they still insisted we pay FULL price for two, when we only get one! Unbelievable! If you own your own masonry company these guys are not who you want to get your stone from. Your customers will pick out a stone from them and their salesmen will tell them they have it in stock. You will go to order the stone and they will tell you it's on back order and they don't know when they'll get it in. Even worse, they will string you out so far on your custom cut orders that your builders will be screaming about why your mantles are taking 6 months to get placed. It's bad business working with these guys and I don't recommend the headache of the effect they have on...
