Buyer Beware! I made an appointment on June 7th for a mobile slaughter on Nov 29th. The appointment was confirmed and I was told it would be no problem. On Nov 24th they called to say they could not do it in that area (they had the address in June) and I would have to transport the animal a significant distance to a holding area. I made the mobile appointment because I dont have the equipment to transport an animal. This was completely irresponsible on their part. Had they told me in June I could have made arrangements for transport, purchased extra feed before prices skyrocketed or made other arrangements, but to make a change this significant at this late of a date is...

I have bought meat from these guys numerous times. The first time everything was great. The Pichana was tender as was the filet and ribeye. Naturally we ordered some more but unfortunately the Pichana was really chewy as was the tri-tip. We chalked it up to just being not amazing and thought the next time would be better. It wasn’t any better this next time. We like supporting local as we drive over an hour each way to do so. Our bill is always several hundred of dollars but we will not be back again. Herber Valley Meats randomly liked a IG post of mine and I saw their IG and decided to stop by during my honeymoon in My honeymoon. The staff was so incredibly nice and even informed us of a fresh cow that came in and butchered us a few fresh steaks while we shopped. We stocked up on pork chops, different steaks, bones for the dogs, chorizo, ground meats, sausages…. Pretty much a little bit of everything. The prices were incredibly reasonable.
