Danville Music — Local services in Danville

Writing this is a bit overdue. Dave at Danville really went above and beyond for me. I had been trying to get a good PRS DW CE hardtail. They are just out of production. The first two I got from another dealer had huge neck pocket gaps. They were getting hard to find. Found one on Danville's website, bought it. Dave called me immediately apologizing that there had been an inventory mistake. When I was telling him it was no biggie and that the universe had not let me find a good one of these, so I wasn't surprised, he immediately offered to call PRS to try and find me one. Well, within an hour he had sent me photos of the last one PRS had. I'm guessing its the LAST LAST one considering production is done for these models.

He had PRS ship it to them first for inspection, they set it up perfectly with my string choice and sent it to me same day. Just WOW. Huge level of service I didn't expect. Got the guitar (it was perfect of course) and Dave had thrown in a few goodies with the personal message of "The planets have aligned" and me knowing they truly did because of Dave's willingness to go the extra mile for me. I'll never forget that. Now, whenever I am looking for something, I check their website first above anyone else's.

I first visited Danville Music in March and I was very impressed by the level of knowledge and customer service by the entire staff. The selection is fantastic and every visit is a learning experience about the different brands. Cameron, Nate, Dave C, Dave T, and the rest of the staff are always willing to answer question and are very friendly and courteous. Their pricing is very fair and they stand behind the products they offer. I find myself wanting to make the drive to visit the shop a couple of times a month just to say hello. Along with the music store, there are numerous other shops (Bakery, retail shops, etc.) in the shopping center that make the visit to Danville worth the drive. The staff at Danville Music are definitely the Best of the Best and I am privileged to know them. I am not a big fan of online shopping, especially for the purpose of shopping for musical instruments, but I like the layout of the website at Danville Music. I enjoy the great attention to detail that they put into the products they list on their website. I couldn’t be happier with my recent online purchase from Danville Music via Reverb. I was a little nervous about buying my Taylor 352ce 12 string acoustic guitar without having played it first. I messaged Cameron with questions and he assured me the guitar was set up, ready to play. The guitar was shipped the same day I purchased it and it took a week to arrive in Florida. I received it in perfect condition. I had researched the Taylor 352ce for months before buying. It is sweet, just as I expected! It plays better than any of my acoustic six strings. This one has the Tobacco Burst finish, which is rare. This my first Taylor guitar and I absolutely love it! I’d give Danville Music more than 5 stars if I could.
