Harbor Freight — Local services in Danville

Harbor freight has everything I'm looking for every time... I never have a hard time finding anything that I need and always things I didn't know I needed until I'm there... they have great prices and an exceptionally clean store. I personally love their selection of led light bars and cubes, and, I go there to get all my towing/hauling tie down needs. Their winch selection is amazing for their price and durability (when set up and used appropriately). I purchase all my welding equipment from there for my personal projects, they are not as powerful as the Lincoln and Miller ones that I used in the professional shops that I worked in but with simple adjustments and good techniques are very good and capable machines (regardless of what the YouTube hacks say against them). I use the Pittsburgh tools with more vigor and less regard than what I ever did Craftsman or snap-off tools... I outright abuse them and have never had them fail... over all this is the right store with the right prices to really do whatever you...

Not a fan of Harbor Freight. Zero customer service in store. Which seems to be copied by their corporate office. Bought a $29.99 electric weed trimmer. Only three people in line, I was #3, the cashier was as slow as a slug. I get home to put purchased trimmer together only to discover there are no screws to attach the guard to the trimmer. Called the phone number on the missing parts page, to be told to take my receipt and guide pamphlet back to the store (15 miles away) to get the missing 4 screws. If I need to go back to the store I am returning the trimmer and going elsewhere. Oh, I was awarded a $10 gift card to purchase said screws. Nope! Waist of my time and gas to get...
