Let me start by saying I like this place, it’s definitely hit or miss—I have shopped here several times and have found some good deals. However when you go into this store the atmosphere is strange, it’s never been welcoming. Today I went in to buy my daughter some things and since I had just went through her closet so I figured I’d take the clothes that were free of stains and in great condition & freshly laundered to sell to them… The moment I walked in they just seemed annoyed at the fact that I was bringing stuff in. I understand on a Saturday you’re busy, but they post frequently about how they’re always accepting items, so I figured anytime would be okay…. I’ve sold clothes to them in the past and they explained to me what they’re looking for and how they like things to be brought in (freshly laundered, free of wrinkles & pet hair and laying flat in the basket, tote, etc(they’ve even posted a video on Facebook demonstrating how they like them to be brought in)) to make it easier for them to sort through. So I made sure to bring everything in exactly as they like people to do. However when I arrived to pickup the items they turned away, my items were just thrown back into the baskets… I am in no way trying to be hard to get along with but if you expect me to bring in items to you a certain way then I except to get my items back in return the same way I brought them to you. (Pictured below is how I took them in and then how I received my items back). The girl at the register seemed annoyed and or frustrated for no reason, I had even said anything other than I was coming to check on the status of my items. So I just told her I was no longer interested in selling the items they wanted to buy and that I will just sell them elsewhere…
Also want to add, they seem super friendly and welcoming in their Facebook posts but why’re they not trained to do the same to actual customers that are in your store trying to shop local and give your...
Read moreThis store used to be great now they are terrible. Took clothes up there to sell to them at 3:00 pm, they said they were busy and they close at 6 but it should be done in two hours. Which was fine. I came back at 5:40 and they still hadn’t even looked at my clothes yet. Then they said it would take 20 minutes, and it will be done, they clearly just wanted to go home and barely looked over my clothes and barely accepted anything. All the clothes I submitted fit the criteria to a tee and it was basically all rejected for reasons of (wear/over 5 years old/ tears). None of that was true, I literally inspected the clothes before I went and my kids are 5 and 4 so the clothes definitely weren’t that old. I won’t be bringing anything else up there. For whatever reason they reject everything you attempt to sell (now). This was my fourth time selling here and they accepted everything my first time, half the second time, and the last two times barely anything. All those clothes were in the same condition. I’m highly disappointed, and will take my business elsewhere. It was nice...
