I have really mixed feelings about this place
First of all, itās very clear that some parents know the workers or owners because they are almost always talking to them constantly, not paying attention to their kids, and distracting the workers.
One of the girls is always there and super nice, but she gets distracted too. I understand that itās a family business so of course friends are going to come, But it seems like nobody is paying attention to their kids, which leaves those of us that donāt know the workers to be very stressed out, While the workers and other parents just talk.
Also, Some kids bring their own toys resulting in them fighting with other kids. Why are kids allowed to bring their own toys? One time this kid bought his own car and left it for other kids to play with, but then he would push and fight the kids when they would touch the car Screaming that itās his. My poor two year-old son started crying because he didnāt understand why he couldnāt touch the car, We thought it was part of the playground! Not once did the worker or the kids mother do anything about it. I expected them to ask the kids to put away his own toy so that the other kids donāt think itās part of the playground. So I took my son and left after 20 minutes of being there.
Next, I understand the no shoes on the carpet policy, but please explain to me why I have to go to the bathroom with my socks ? Even the workers are wearing slippers. If you want us to go to the bathroom with our socks, then walk on the carpet where the kids play, how does that make sense? The kids are also walking in the bathroom with the socks, and then they go jump with those socks on the toys!!! Itās literally disgusting.
Like I said, I have been there multiple times. Twice for a birthday party and twice on my own with my kids. Every single time Iāve been there I have seen the lady vacuum, But one time we even stayed four hours and multiple people came in and out and not once did anybody Sanitize anything. I watched the parents and kids go in and out of the bathroom with their socks and then step on the carpet and toys, where my baby was crawling!!!! It just does not seem like a sanitary placeā¦.
Lastly, The coffee is good, but sometimes it is so burnt that you canāt even drink it. It seems like itās very old sometimes. I was super embarrassed when I took my friends and I could tell none of us like the coffee.
I gave this place for chances and every single time. Iāve been disappointed with something that is actually...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was in town for a family sports tournament and needed a nearby indoor play space for my daughters, ages 1 and 3. Little Legends Playground was only five minutes away, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in.
Upon arrival, we saw a sign instructing guests to remove their shoes. As this was our first visit, I assumed this applied only to children playing in the designated area. I helped my daughters take off their shoes and walked with them toward the register. As we approached, the two women behind the counter greeted us with cold, judgmental staresāno āhello,ā no āwelcome,ā no offer to help.
I told them I wanted to pay for my daughters to play. One of them asked, āAre you paying for him?ā referring to my 9-year-old son, who is tall for his age (5ā4ā). I explained that he wouldnāt be playing. Despite that, she kept asking, and when I reiterated that he wasnāt participating, she saidārudelyāthat he needed to take his shoes off anyway. This wouldnāt have been an issue had we been told up front that everyone in the building, even non-participants, needed to be barefoot. This lack of communication was frustrating, especially since we had to take our daughters to the restroom barefootāan unhygienic and uncomfortable situation.
During our hour and a half there, the two employees remained behind the counter the entire time, chatting and sitting low behind the register. They never once checked the play area, sanitized anything, or engaged with any families. The facility itself felt disorganized, with random toys scattered around and no clear theme to reflect the name āLittle Legends Playground.ā
When it was time to buy snacks, I approached the counter and stood there waiting to be helped. Both women glanced at me but continued their conversation. I had to interrupt and say, āExcuse me, Iād like to purchase a snack.ā They responded as if I had said something odd. When I listed what my kids wanted, they questioned each item and repeatedly told me the prices in a condescending toneāas if to say, āAre you sure you can pay for this?ā The subtle microaggressions were hard to ignore.
To top it all off, three days later, all of my children came down with a severe case of hand, foot, and mouth diseaseāsomething theyāve never had before.
Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and unclean environment made this a place I would not recommend to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo far I've been here on two occasions. The first was for a private party in April when we booked the entire venue for a birthday and the second time was a few weeks later on a rainy day. Both times I was underwhelmed. The layout is simple and offers a few attractions for mostly toddlers. Children beyond the age of 5 will struggle to keep themselves entertained. They have two slides, an undersized trampoline that can safely accommodate one child at a time, and various residential-sized indoor playground equipment. Nothing is commercial grade or truly durable enough to endure rigorous play.
As soon as you walk in there's a small foyer where shoes aren't allowed past a certain point. After that, all guests must walk shoeless throughout the entire establishment, including the bathrooms. I understand that the carpeted area where the children play should remain sterile with no shoes allowed, but the adjacent L-shaped perimeter, surrounding the play area, should allow for patrons to keep their shoes. Nobody wants to use a public restroom wearing only their socks, especially when the floors are wet.
Lastly, they have a very neat snack bar with numerous snacks for little ones. The choice of music (EDM and Techno) was also questionable. Overall the establishment is clean, although a bit overpriced, and will suffice for a rainy day when the kids are experiencing...
