Service was great. Multiple waiters came to check on us. Cheese bread was good but the baguette was better. Garlic mashed potatoes and fried banana were heavenly. Their salad bar was interesting. Lobster bisque was pretty decent, all the other stuff was okay/salad. I used a lot of the chimichuri/vinigarette. We tried the sirloin, picanha, pork loin, sausage, filet, chicken drumsticks, pineapple, and lamb I believe. Sirloin came and it was very medium rare. Like there wasn’t a single cut of medium rare and we had told the waitress (when she asked us before the meat came) that I liked medium my wife liked medium well. Guy comes over and cuts us both huge pieces of medium rare. I mean, if you like that kind of meat then go crazy. The sirloin is pictured on the right. Anyways, the texture was absolutely diabolical. I can’t with that rare of meat. It reminds me as if I’m eating into flesh. Just nasty. Sorry guys no offense. Anyways, we didn’t let this stop us though. The picanha was okay, little salty, not bad. Didn’t get more though because they continued to try to bring us the picanha or sirloin 4-5 times, when it was either medium rare/rare or we were waiting for a better cut. Anyways, the lamb was just not good. I don’t know if we just don’t like lamb, I haven’t tried a lot of lamb. Neither of us liked the texture or flavor. I don’t even know how to explain it other than a big flesh ball of fat and a unpleasant taste. So pass on that. Chicken drumstick was okay just tasted like a grilled chicken drum. The pineapple was fantastic. Loved it. Then finally the filet mignon came and oh my gosh. This was amazing (pictured on the left). Absolutely fantastic. Finally something worth while. Amazing texture flavor sear I mean I was in heaven. The sausages were very good, juicy, flavorful. So we waited for more filet and they did bring us it. Great service. I guess my only advice to the restaurant is to take your time (even if you have to wait) to make more then just medium rare/rare steaks. I feel like most people would prefer the cheaper cuts to be medium-well done and the filet medium...
Read moreOur first time here. You're treated like royalty. I asked for a sample of every meat that was brought to our table. My favorite by far was the filet mignon, but there were certainty many others that rose to the occasion. We'd heard the place is pricey, but for all that meat.., $53 per person seemed reasonable. The boys ate their fill and I feel gave them a run for the money. I personally can't see myself going there again as I've NEVER been able to eat much in a sitting so prefer places where you can take leftovers home. The second pic posted is of the WASTED meat that I just couldn't finish. I didn't ask for any seconds so while I understand a place like this wouldn't want to encourage doggy bags, they might want to consider people like me who didn't take advantage of their service and allow a one sample per item to go home with the consumer. That is my ONLY reason that I won't be in any hurry to go back. The service, ambiance, and food were top notch. If you're like me however, and can't stand the thought of throwing good food away that technically, you were entitled to.... it's a no. My hubby and son? Heck yes they'd gladly return!! Another thought for the restaurant is to nix the side serving of potato salad that came with the bread. What a complete waste. Stick it on the salad bar with the rest of the delicious treats. Makes me wonder just how much food gets tossed night after night. Again, the place, staff, and food are 5 star. I just hate seeing so much amazing food go to...
Read moreTook my kids here for a celebration and was not disappointed. Everything that we tried was amazing and there was never a moment where we were left wanting for anything due to the constant stopping and asking if we'd like to try another selection of meats. Beef, lamb, chicken, pork(we didn't get to try the duck so can't weigh in on that.) were all delicious. The Brazilian sausage, filet, and garlic picanha were the biggest hits at the table!
We were concerned by the cost at first, but it was worth it without question. Just save room for dessert, or better yet take it home for later! Note: Dessert is extra and from what we had worth every penny.
If we find ourselves with an event worthy of the occasion we'll definitely be back.
Pros - There's no leaving hungry Huge selection of side dishes Lots of meats to choose from and never having to leave your seat! Prompt and courteous service from the super friendly staff!
Cons - Sticker shock! Seeing the price may be a deterrent but it was in fact worth every penny Red card/Green Card is to small for servers to notice. Didn't mind them coming by every time but some might When busy it gets a little cramped Definitely an occasion or fancy date night spot, not for casual dinner.
The service and quality went well beyond the cons so we did not let those bother us so much. All in all it was a...
