Media Vault — Local services in Dayton

I have done several small purchases here up til 4/21, nothing outstanding; I've always met a friendly staff featuring reasonable prices. Then my iPhone goes for a swim. This was a stress/emergency purchase. I don't like to spend money even when I can plan for it. I'm grumpy when I'm paying to replace something that had another year of life on it. I found nothing around town, web felt too risky for such a critical buy. I'd seen phones in the display before - why not? I walked in with 30 minutes to close. I received VIP treatment in a stressful situation. The salesman's product knowledge was all-star (former Apple employee?) He made the price work for me on a fine phone. Could I have gotten a better price somewhere with ample lead time? Maybe. BUT, I don't think I would have found anyone who could have made the purchasing environment a fraction as good as what happened that day. Buyer...

Wish there was more of these mom and pop vintage game shops around. They remind me of Game Force that used to be in Hixson on 153 back in the 90s. Not only is the staff knowledgeable on vintage and collectibles and fair pricing, but they are courteous and professional. I had a severe migraine and was even offered aspirin and water. I recently put a smart TV on layaway and they have been very kind and flexible when I need slight wiggle room on a payment. Been buying, selling and trading with them for 2 years. A little mixed review, normally we do great business together but newer employees will try to rip you off. I took my Smash Bros. and Mario kart for gamecube in to sell because I noticed they were selling copies for $70 apiece. They tried to offer me $10 a piece for them and tried to tell me it's because mine aren't in perfect condition (mine looked better then theirs).
