NorthTown Center — Local services in Dayton

The collection of stores and businesses in this shopping center are great and helpful, but there tend to be a lot of drug activity, rowdy people sometimes having loud arguments or even getting into physical altercations, people loitering around and begging for money or cigarettes, as well as one or two severely mentally ill people who spend a lot of time in the parking lot, maybe to just have some place to be. Its a shame our city doesn't offer more help for people like the ones who hang around this shopping center for most of their day. One well-known woman in particular is called Mary, and she can be the sweetest person, if a bit peculiar too. I enjoy talking with her when I get the chance and playing her her choice of songs on my phone. The stores here are of every type and most have very reasonable prices. The Dollar Tree 🌳 recently added $3 and $5 items to their store in addition to their usual $1.25 products, thus widening the array of items sold there. I have a painting that weights around 40 pounds and I needed a hook that could hold that much weight because I did not want to put holes in my new apartments walls. I went to the big stores like,Wal - Mart, Target and some of the smaller ones and didn't find what I needed. I stopped at Ace Hardware,I walked around to see if I could find what I was looking for, as I walked around I took notice of the inventory they carry, I was amazed at the variety of tools and paints the store carried. If you need a tool don't jump from store to store looking for what you need, go straight to Ace Hardware and I bet you will find what you're looking for.
