Edit 10/17/19 - I have changed the review since the owner has talked to us and did everything he could to make things right. I am very happy with how he handled the situation when word got to him of what happened. While it took some time to get a hold of him, not of his own fault, he made things right. Was extremely kind and explained he was sorry. One bad day or employee shouldn't ruin a place. The original experience wasn't the best, but due to the understanding and respect of the owner. We are willing to give another chance.
My girlfriend and I had a kids birthday party here the other day. We were asked to arrive 30 minutes early to let them know we were there, and to prepare our area. We arrived the 30 minutes early. Upon asking if we could start setting up and which two lanes we were on, we were told "your lanes are currently still being bowled on. We were busy today so you have to wait until your lanes are clear." I don't know why our reserved lanes were being used, nor why we couldn't go to another lane for the party. Our lanes weren't clear until the party was supposed to begin. At that point we had to start setting up all of the party stuff while everyone that had arrived sat there doing nothing.
We then had to go up and explain our party was there and the bowling lanes were not started. They turned them on and we entered everyone's names. Had to wait a little extra to get the bumpers up, but not very long.
While the kids were bowling we ordered two pitchers of drinks, and two pizzas. Twenty minutes later we recieved one of the pizzas. We asked about the pitchers of drinks and the other pizza. They said they were working on the pizza but didn't have down that we ordered any drinks. We went up and asked someone else and was told "well we need your receipt to prove you ordered them." Luckily we still had it and showed it to them to get the drinks. The fact they forgot completely in the short amount of time was ridiculous though. About fifteen minutes after all this the other pizza arrived.
We continued the party, seeing that our bowling time was going till the party was ending (had thirty minutes more than we were supposed to). We assumed it was to make up for mistakes but asked anyways. They said they had no idea why and would figure it out.
At the end of the party we waited a little bit for the bill and trash can to clean. We waited fifteen minutes with nothing. So we went and asked for a trash can to use. As there was a $40 fee for them cleaning up. So we cleaned up and still hadn't gotten the bill. We went up and asked for the bill and they claimed we never paid the deposit for the party ($20). We explained we did and after a little bit they found it in their systems. As they expected us to have the receipt for that as well. They told us another person who had a party earlier walked out without paying. So they were happy we actually came up to pay. Due to all these issues I would not have another party here again. I don't know if it was just a bad day for them or what was going on.
The birthday kid is also supposed to receive a bowling pin, that all the people who came can sign. We did not receive this. We are planning on going back to the bowling alley to ask. However, obviously the birthday kid will not be able to have everyone who went sign it now.
The positives I can say is the bowling alley was nice and they had an angry birds version for score for the kids. Sadly that's the only good I can say.
Edit 10/11: Upon calling we were told come in to get our child's bowling pin. Even though it couldn't be signed after all of this time by her friends obviously. We went in and were told that only the higher cost packages provide that. We found out contract and it says "EVERY PARTY INCLUDES A BOWLING PIN AND A FREE COUPON FOR A GAME FOR EACH PARTY GUEST." So now we have to go back again to pick up the bowling pin making this a third trip there to get it. Along with the coupons we can't give to everyone easily that was it wasn't done at the party. We will never be bowling or having a...
Read moreI went on 8/4/2022 around 8:30 pm. I am a senior citizen with two leg prosthetics. I am also a Muslim women who wears a scarf. I wanted to bowl with my grandson and son in law. From the start, the manager Nick, the bold guy was ignoring us. I had to repeat more than twice to get his attention. He wanted us 3 to get bowling shoes. But I explained that I have 2 fake legs and wear special shoes. I even showed him my fake legs. But he said it does not matter and he didn't care. When I explained that this discrimination against a disabled person, he started shouting at us to get out of the place or he is going to call the police on us. It was a very hamulating experience for us. I have never had a bad experience as such at another bowling ally. Read moreThis place looks awesome from the outside and everything is newly remodeled inside... DO NOT BE FOOLED. Immediately upon entering the building I couldn't help but notice the overwhelming stench of stale farts emitting from everywhere. The staff was very rude, particularly the woman with the extremely distastefully dyed red hair. We called ahead to inquire about the cosmic bowling schedule, which we were told started at 11pm, only to come all the way there to be "corrected" that it starts at 11:30pm. We were told that whomever we spoke with gave us incorrect information and then they proceeding to cancel cosmic bowling altogether, KNOWING we were there for a child's birthday party. Based on the red haired lady's decision, due to "the lack of customers", they cancelled it, and this is on a Saturday night mind you, but she did it seemingly just to be rude to us. There was no manager around so we assume she took advantage of the fact and decided to"play manager" herself...and this was for a child's birthday party! Disgusting. She complained about the form of payment we requested to pay with, we needed to split the bill so we asked if we could pay with both cash and credit card. I'm sorry but what kind of business complains about how you prefer to pay them? Ridiculous. I made my way up to the food grill to inquire about pitchers of soda and water only to find out that their special price for a pitcher of WATER is $6!! I was then suddenly and rudely interrupted by the shrill, ear-splitting sound of a heavy-set, heavily intoxicated man sweating over the karaoke microphone, which was a disgusting sight in itself, and I was shocked to hear the profanity the establishment allowed him to use while in the presence of young children. Never again will I spend my hard earned money and time at...
