The apartment if very spacious (high ceilings, that's really it) and second floor outdoor area with a nice view of nature (they took down most of the trees a couple days before moving out), but that's really where the good things ends. (TLDR: Just avoid this place, its not worth it unless you have a very specific need of "I NEED AN APARTMENT ASAP")
You have: unfinished concrete floors to the point of there being some holes (a couple being an inch or two deep and about an inch wide) or a complete section of the apartment and areas that ruined socks or your feet, windows that couldn't keep the ac or heat in due to you literally feeling the wind from outside (the cold front of 2024 made it as low as 52 in the apartment) that also wouldn't open more than an inch no matter what you tried (yes I checked the locks and no I didn't brute force it because I don't want to pay for that), a "you can do whatever you want to the apartment as long as its restored to what it originally was" attitude but you can't even replace the shower head or put things on the window sill, a daycare system (between the buildings) that would wake you up as early as 8 am and would hog parking for an hour in the mornings and afternoons (also sometimes being allowed in the building so screaming kids in the halls likes its their personal play area), maintenance that wouldn't help you for days (also the number they have posted on the pin board was out of service), locked gates so you wouldn't get your mail and sometimes packages would be left outside or even at the wrong building, such high ceilings so you can't dust airducts or ceiling lights without a couple yardsticks attached to each other, rain water coming through a vent on the side of the building, cracks forming every week, holes allowing spiders to get in on the ceiling, "semi new appliances" that weren't new at all and an oven that would take up to 30 minutes just to get to 400 degrees, "professional cleaning" before you move in yet dirt and dust on the ground/countertops/fridge/and shelfs, front office that would be nice and rude at the same time, pesticide cleaning in the halls without 1 day notice making me 2 hours late for work due to having to wait it out, the 4th floor of my building being in violation of probably a few codes and just giving off a depressing and physic ward vibe, pluming were 1 person clogs their bathroom leading to our bathroom being clogged. giant breathe need I go on? The place needs a lot of work and if the actually invested in it I bet it would be a great place, but right now (and what I can probably say is it will stay this way) its not an apartment. At best its a studio due to it being the old Dearborn city...
Read morethe windows arent sealed right so you feel the cold breeze, the mail half the time wont even be in the mail room but right on the OUTSIDE of the gate, the concrete floors arent even so your furniture will be lopsided, the floors are not even smooth concrete (it will ruin ur socks and shoes by how rough it is), there are cracks on the walls/ceiling/floor that look dangerous like the building is going to fall apart, the hallways smelling of smoke, the daycare (yes there is a daycare in the same building just on the lower connecting part by the parking lot) being INSIDE of the apartment building so you will here screaming kids in the early morning. you can find better and cheaper apartments elsewhere, so...
