Think twice about using this pharmacy. They have some serious problems. Medication ordered by physician 2 weeks ago after approving by insurance. No response from Walgreens for 1 week and when I called them they said they had called to see if I wanted the medication as it was expensive. Then, it would take 3 more days to order. 5 days later medication arrived and I went to pick it up but they only dispensed 1/2 of what was to be dispensed and charged me for the full amount and told me to contact my insurance company. Insurance company contacted, local provider contacted and stated that I was to get 2 months filled (2 boxes). Called pharmacist with provider on a 3 way and she stated that insurance and I were incorrect. Label stated quantity 2 and that meant 2 boxes- received 1. Pharmacist rude and hung up. Provider requested that I get my meds filled elsewhere as they have had issues with this pharmacy and pharmacist and will not longer send prescriptions there after hanging up on our 3 way call. Medication ERROR! Insurance fraud! RUN.... don't go here to be ripped off with their med errors & fraud. Reported to insurance company who will...
Read moreI struggled to decide about writing this review. However, it seems there is a systemic problem that they have yet to fix. More than 4 times, I've received a message that my prescription was ready for pickup. Checked in the app & that said the same. But, when I got there, I'm told the prescription was "canceled". Before anyone starts questioning the rules about filling early: That doesn't matter. Don't tell me something my doctor called in (that I didn't know about) is ready for pickup when it's not. The whole "filling early" rule doesn't apply in these cases anyway. I do agree that there is a MASSIVE service problem - not saying anyone was impolite, but COME ON. And CLEARLY there's an IT problem as well as an unwillingness by the pharmacist to do the due diligence b4 putting the customer through what could be a brutally taxing/confusing gauntlet of unnecessary crap. My 2 cents. Yes, I'm likely to move my business elsewhere to be done with ALL...
Read moreCalled to ask how much a prescription cost for my dog and they refused to give me any info about it. Came off as rude and didn’t even try to get my business. Publix told me the cost over the phone and even suggested using a Good RX card. Walgreens needs to learn customer service is everything. I won’t ever use them as my pharmacy in the future if they can’t offer something as simple as pricing over the phone. Also it takes a lot to come back from one interaction of an employee not caring about customer satisfaction. There is way too much competition and I will...
