On March 16th 2024. I had a problem with my car. I thought it was the battery giving me problems and I drove in to the Auto Zone near me to see if I could get my battery replaced. The service manager a young lady named Kate was the one who assisted me. She searched for the battery and they did not have the battery in stock . So she went ahead a called the location near my home to see if they had it. In which they did and had them hold it for me. But this is not the part I was surprised by , When I went out to my car to start it. It would not start . She came out and tried to jump start my car and it would not start . Come to find out it was actually the starter that was bad. I was stranded there with my family and Kate had offered to assist me in getting the starter. When we checked they did not have the starter in house. She checked in all the other stores in the area and it seemed that the only location that had them were in Orlando and she would not have it available till Monday. Here is the part that got me she saw that my family and I were stranded at the store with no way of getting home. She went above and beyond and called the competitor to see if they had the starter and not only did she have them hold the starter for me she actually was at the end of her shift and offered to take me to get the part. I would have bought the part form her all day but they did not have it. She was very generous in taking me to go get the part and not only did she help us in getting the part she actually assisted me in getting it installed. This is the definition of going above and beyond for a customer and I greatly appreciate her for assisting us and how humble she was. She is definitely a great example of what great service is all about. She has earned a faithful customer. Again Kate thank you for all you did for me and my family....
   Read moreDAN , the “manager” is incompetent about their own sales. I came in today to purchase windshield wiper blades for my father as today is his birthday. I noticed if I spent $30 I could get seven dollars off so I texted the number on the post + received my digital coupon and attempted to use it. None of the two associates working the register knew how to process this coupon. I show the coupon to another customer in line he attempted to use it the associate at his register overrode the coupon and gave him a seven dollar discount even though it wasn’t working. I have Dan come out there to try to help process it accuse me of being fraudulent with the coupon told me I had to be an AutoZone employee to use the coupon and refused to override the coupon even though they just overrode the coupon for someone else. After I showed him how to work their own systems and he finally was willing to override the price and sell me the two wiper blades and engine fuel treatment, I was ticked off to the extreme left my products there and left the store and promised him a one star review for his poor service that I felt was due to my skin color and my hair. I will never return to this AutoZone I don’t think Dan is qualified for the job district management should look for a better manager because he does not even know how to process...
   Read moreI always go to this store when i need parts. But when i came in there was one person in the store. Im very known in this store by most employees and managers but the people i normally deal with were not there. So i get on the computer and look up the parts i need and i sat there for atleast 5 minutes waiting for help. While im waiting 2 of the employees are talking to their friend that walks in with 2 other people. One of the employees didnt know anything about the car the customer was talking about and i had to tell him what engine it was and what oil to reccomend, and still while the other employee was talkin to his friend and rubbing his head. Seriously? Youre at work, quit goofing off and do your job. Needless to say he wasnt much help either. He said i couldnt pay for the part because it had to be ordered. But i knew i could order it and pay for it because i know the system better than he does apparently. He asked me 2 times what the part was that i needed even though its on the screen in front of him and before i checked out he asked what vehicle it was for. Again its on the screen in front of him. Does this place hire anyone that knows how to actually turn a wrench? When i come back ill deal with Beth or Kim and Blane before anyone else. Those people know what...
