Boy has this been a nightmare. This place is an actual predatory scam and I'm reporting them to the better business bureau after spending over $7000.
We had just bought a house locally and needed furniture. Decided to go buy it 3 weeks before we moved in. Upon walking in, you will see everything with price tags with prices twice as high as they are actually selling them for. They tell you it's all on sale for 50ish percent off because they have too much in stock in their ON SITE warehouses. I was told everything they were selling was on site and could be delivered whenever I wanted but they just couldn't do same day delivery. This is where it became a nightmare. Forward 3 weeks, we move in. I call to schedule the delivery and I'm told one of the couches I ordered hasn't arrived at the warehouse. I was lied to by 3 employees including the floor manager. Out of the 6 pieces I bought, 4 were not in their warehouse but being shipped to them. When I informed customer service what i was told they said "thats really weird cause it usually takes 8-12 weeks for orders to be shipped to us." My family had to wait 8 more days to have any funiture to sit on. While waiting on the floor of our new home, my sister in law wanted to know what furniture i had ordered so I starting looking up the SKU numbers on the internet to find pictures. This is when I realized I had been scammed. I was over charged on every single piece. This is an Ashley's funiture "outlet" but they sold me everything for substantially more than what I would have paid just going to ashleys funiture.
If you are going to shop here, I highly recommend looking up the SKU number for everything...
Read moreWhen my daughter and I entered the store we were greeted by Zach. He offered his help and I told him what I was looking for. He told me where everything was. I told him thank you and he said he would be around if I needed him. No one bothered me or was pushy at all but let me look on my own. I started finding all the pieces I liked and wanted, however some of the beds didn’t have a price and I got Zach. He got me the price and then I continued to show him what I needed. When he went to Dan (the Operations Manager), he came over to me and spoke to me about somethings because I was talking across the store to him about them. We shook hands and he was very helpful to me. He and Zach were great at working with me. There was another young lady that worked with Zach that, as well, was pleasant, kind and sweet like Zach. I truly appreciated my visit here at Ashley Outlet!!! They worked with me doing a bundle with the price. If I had one thing to say it is, there was a customer that came in while I was there that was rude as heck to another employee that was also kind as heck!!! She was loud, acted like she was owed everything, she was rude and the customer is not right acting that way!!! Sorry but not sorry!!!! I do not know what is wrong with society today, however it doesn’t matter who you are, salespeople are PEOPLE TOO! They are not dogs and I don’t treat my dog like that. Have common courtesy and kindness. He was trying to do his job. I knew what her problem was. I’m not going to say it on here, but I couldn’t believe what I witnessed. Read moreIf you decide to go to this store and do decide to purchase a product plan accordingly. You will be there for a long time. The sales people are a a hot mess. I understand the whole working on a commission thing but, customer service declines when your sales rep. is helping multiple people all at once. I dont think I've ever been told, I'll be right back so many times that I lost count. Then after your taken to the service desk to actually place and pay for your purchase it starts all over again. The gentleman placing the order walked away 6 times to tell other people he'd be with them in a minute and at one point actually disappeared to help someone else look at furniture. We were there 2 hours! Sadly, we walked in, picked out what we wanted ourselves, and had cash in hand ( no financing thank god. I cant imagine how much longer we'd have been there waiting for that) and still had that wait time. Adjust your schedule...
