We took our daughter and grandson here a couple weeks ago for an early dinner and our server was amazing and very friendly. My daughter and I both had the taco salad that was on special and it was so big we could have shared one and still had left overs. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and white gravy. The tenderloin was as large as the plate. The gravy however was not a white gravy but instead sausage gravy. I’m not a chef but I do know the difference between white gravy and sausage gravy. Who wants sausage in their mashed potatoes that’s served with pork tenderloin? Lol. They have their regulars who sit either at the counter or share a large table and I’m sure talk for a hour or so daily, that tells me the rest of the food must be decent. I was not impressed with paying almost $60 for three adult meals and a child’s meal but nowadays it’s to be expected I guess. If you haven’t tried them I suggest you go and see what you think. Very clean...
Read moreUsually I would rate them 5 stars but now no. 6-18-2020 I went here with a friend and I got a chicken breast skillet meal (my usual) and he got one with combination in his. When I got home I realized they mixed our food up and we were no longer together. I couldn’t eat his because I don’t eat any of the stuff that was in it (meats and vegetables) I called and my waitress said she paid for me a new meal and I can come back whenever and get it. I called today and I was told I should’ve brought the food back and if I wanted a new meal I have to pay for it. So what I originally paid was a loss because I never got to eat my food and instead of them showing better customer service when I called to reorder something they messed up they said it’s my fault. I’ve came here plenty of times (I don’t even have to read the menu anymore and most waitresses know my order when they see me) but myself or my family will not be returning I’m disgusted by the...
Read moreStopped in Decatur for some antique hunting and read reviews on this restaurant, which was right up our alley. The staff was friendly and welcoming when we walked in. They have tables or booths your choice, I always choose a booth as it's easy on my back along with my service puppy. My first question was, "Do you have hot chocolate as it was a cold & windy day?" They did yeah for me. Both of us were in the mood for breakfast, which they serve all day. We ordered the Hungry Man meal, which has 3 pancakes, 3 eggs, 3 bacon slices, and 3 sausage links. The price was so reasonable and sounded good to boot. No disappointment here as the food came out quick and piping hot. The eggs were great(scrambled), the pancakes were large and were Buttermilk, bacon was tasty, and last the sausage links were delicious. Overall, the entire experience was really good, and I definitely recommend it along with well be back next time we...
