Had my husband go and get tastys a little bit ago. I was a little worried because I have just moved back to Decatur but I haven’t eaten tastys since I was a kid, and it’s under new management. I can gladly say though, the service is amazing. I got a lot of things because I wanted to try everything, and I was very pleased. The guy I believe he’s the new owner or manager, not really sure but my husband said he was so so nice. I liked all of the food too, the fries were perfectly salted and the hotdogs as always were really great. My favorite part was the cheesecake though. I believe he told my husband that his wife makes them homemade, and WOW. You can’t tell by looking at it but it is literally the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. I love the Cheesecake Factory in Chicago because cheesecake is a huge favorite of mine so it had some competition, but I can and will gladly say that I’ll be back. If you come here, try the cheesecake!! You will NOT be disappointed. My new favorite place to...
Read moreI have traveled to OH, FL, KY, TN, GA, FL TX, LA and MS and have eaten at many resteraunts along the way and nothing compares to Tasty's on Pershing Rd!!!! The food is delicious! It's always hot and fresh. (I highly recommend the pizza puff, chicken strips and cheese fries) In addition to the Tasty treats you get something you won't find at most places. You get a genuine smile and customer service that is so good that they should teach a class to all people everywhere that deal with the public. In all honesty, people in general could learn a thing or two from them. Bad attitudes are everywhere and more often than not it's for no reason. A little kindness goes a long way. So if you're hungry and looking for a great place to eat I highly recommend Tasty's. Even if you're not hungry, say you and your chihuahua are running errands on a hot day and would love a pepsi and an ice water😁, Tastys is the...
Read more3 stars mean good. What would make it 5 stars: Consistency: The Italian beef sandwich was tasty overall, but in the middle, there were some crumbles of older meat that affected the quality. Onion Ring Pricing: At around $5.65, the onion rings feel overpriced for just seven pieces. Meal Cost: Paying over $20 for a sandwich and onion rings seems excessive for a single meal. If the total cost, including fees, could be reduced to around $12.50 to $15, it would make the place more affordable for...
