I am a business owner and have received multiple threats from Michelle Burks of the Decatur Daily threatening to use her contacts at her job (The Decatur Daily) to 'ruin my business'. Michelle Burks and her boyfriend John Lott purchased a 2013 Range Rover Sport from me 4 months ago. After the purchase it acquired a coolant leak which Michelle was told multiple times to bring it in to us and we would gladly fix it. She refused and took the vehicle to Express Oil Change instead of us for repairs 'by her friends' who worked there. Nevertheless, they did not fix the leak and again Michelle Burks was told to bring it back to us and we would help her. Today, 12/21/2018, her boyfriend John Lott brought the vehicle to my dealership and, as promised, we fixed the problem free of charge by changing a simple coolant seal...even though LEGALLY, we didn't have to help at all. We even offered to meet her with a loaner car free of charge and pick up the Range Rover because she claimed she 'didn't have time'. Now, Michelle Burks has threatened my to use her 'contacts' at The Decatur Daily to 'ruin my business' if I don't pay her $750 cash (her and her boyfriend John Lott first demanded $1,500 in exchange for them leaving me alone). Her boyfriend John Lott, AFTER we fixed the vehicle for FREE this morning, became irate and verbally threatened to harm not only myself but also multiple employees at my business. I don't know if this is the kind of people that all work at The Decatur Daily but it certainly isn't the type people I want to do business with. I have filed a police report with supporting documentation as well as video/audio recordings to the local police. The police warned me against 'people like this' who apparently attempt to make money from black-mailing businesses and suggested me not pay a dime because they only keep coming back for more. I'm including a snapshot of her reviews she has left online and the type cyber abuse Michelle Burks participates in while at work for The Decatur Daily. I will be filing legal action against Michelle Burks, John Lott & The Decatur Daily as I believe they are all co-conspirators in the FRAUDULENT and ILLEGAL practices of soliciting money from businesses via black mail. She posted photos of police cars at my business in attempt to misrepresent to my customers that THEY were done wrong when I am the one who called the police to have John Lott escorted off my premises. I have built my company by myself and my online reputation speaks for itself. I will not tolerate this scam. Right is right and wrong is WRONG. Good...

When u get a paper out of a paper box and u pay $1.50 on a Sunday and u literally get no coupons or sales ads then why sell the paper. Called Decatur daily personally and they said customers with home delivery get first priority and the rest are at the Decatur daily. Here is a question, Why?
