The Princess Theatre - Center For The Performing Arts — Attraction in Decatur

We attended the Ricky Skaggs concert a few days ago. The entertainer was superb, great show. But, the Princess was not a very good experience on this night. We have attended many shows there, always enjoying it. We sat in the balcony for this show. It was a DISASTER. The temperatures up there had everyone fanning, and the A/C didn't appear to be working. Really unacceptable if the Princess wants to be a first class venue. Also, the numbering on the seats caused many to sit in the wrong seats, not understanding which seat was theirs. That was hosed up, and the usher was absolutely ineffective. He helped ZERO. The late arrivers just had to find a seat, and many had to leap-frog around when the real ticket holders returned. My recommendation, knowing it won't be addressed.....mark each seat where it is clear to those who infrequently attend concerts, or likely even get out of their houses, AND fix the air-conditioning. I will not return and sit in the balcony, even if Elvis makes a miraculous appearance on...

My first time ever being inside! Watched a live show here on Saturday night and I was not impressed. There was many many people outside waiting To go inside. I had previously purchased my tickets offline so I could have skipped the line if there would have been some sort of signage available that could have said that.
