The Game — Restaurant in Decatur

I'm giving a five-star for the food, the food was phenomenal.. but 2 stars for service... 3 star overall. I took my daughter tonight during third Friday and I got the steak truffle mac and cheese bowl and it was to die for! However the service was not ... I sat there for 10 mins before someone took our drink order and gave us menus. I was sat AN HOUR total before I got my food. I think they forgot all about me because another table of 5 came in 15 minutes after us and had their food in 10 minutes and was eating by the time I finally asked where mine and my daughters was at. We also sat with empty drinks for about 10 minutes. So we arrived at 7:04 p.m. and didn't leave until 8:25 p.m. but it only took us 10 minutes to eat. Finally we got our food!!¡ I know they had a busy night but everyone else seemed like they had fine service. The food was incredible even other people's plates looked so delicious as they passed by but on the way to the bathroom, I saw one of the cooks at the fryer mixing batter with his bare hand and that grossed me out. You can see the whole kitchen on the way to the bathroom, his hands may have been clean, or they may not have I have no idea! It would have been nice to see him wearing gloves and not using his bare hand to mix batter and batter chicken.

They also have ax throwing you have to be at least 13 to do but they also have other games too, not much a couple of racing games, a golf game, and a punching bag game. So all in all I am going to have to give this place 3 stars. I will give it another chance next time and if I see gloves and the service isn't horrible, I will adjust my score. The food alone is worth it and I give five stars...

So impressed and looking forward to going back! We tried the Chimmi Fries, Wings, Decatur style chicken tenders, and sliders. They were all delicious. Like this place will be my cheat day treat kind of delicious! It’s like they take the typical sports bar type food and elevate it ! The atmosphere was great too. Yes, you can see that they are still getting up and running, and don’t have all the games and what not that they intend to have eventually. But it was still a fun, comfortable place to watch the football games and enjoy the pretty 2nd street view. The owner is such a nice guy and clearly passionate about bringing something awesome to Decatur. One of our kids turns 21 soon, and THIS is where we are going to take him...

Good place to hang out with some friends, have some drinks, watch some football.

I travel for work and found this place on google maps, figured I’d give it a shot. Had to move tables after 15 minutes of not being acknowledged by a server. Food took about 45 minutes to come out, I got their brisket burnt ends sliders, they were good but nothing spectacular.

I was there for a total of about an hour and a half, for someone who’s dining solo that’s a long time that isn’t there just to hang out and watch the game, service just needs to be quicker from waiting staff and kitchen.

I can see the appeal though for just hanging out with a group of friends, may have just picked the wrong restaurant just to come and...
