Plaza Cinema IV — Local services in Decatur

I will first begin by saying for local country town movie theater Its very convenient and usually has some of the recent releases to watch. On the downside the theater's are way to small for even short people your knees will be touching the seat in front of you unless you turn slightly sideways, the concession stand is very minimal and worked by very young teens who have very little work experience but i guess you got to start somewhere right. Has a few grab machines for your entertainment why you and your friends or children are waiting for the movie to start. All and all not great but prices are decent and its convenient. My opinion is this place needs lots of updating. Like better seating,better sound system,maybe bigger screens, more games in the lobby, and an expanded concession arrangement...

I took my 72 year old dad to see Avengers End Game the day after it come out. He loves Marvel comics and has really looked forward to this. He suffers COPD and has a bad back. I was very concerned about wait time and him standing in lines. I have to say this theater is the most wonderful place. My dad was given star treatment. He was allowed to come in and wait. Then he was allowed to go in the actual theater before anyone . Thank you to the wonderful owners and staff. You are all such a amazing blessing. My dad and I had a a great daddy/daughter night. Very disappointed by this movie experience. Went to see the movie Maleficent noticed the previews were blurry. When I told the staff that it was blurry they said they were already aware of the issue and told the manager but they couldn’t fix it because there was only one person that knew how to work the machines and he wasn’t there today. So they are selling tickets to a movie that is blurry and not telling people that it will continue to be blurry if they wanted to continue watching or get a refund. I would rather drive further to see a movie than have this lack of quality of...
