We were traveling through the area, and found this place on Google. 1st issue was expecting us to pay $$ for menu items at a $ restaurant. We had to go to counter to order our food and drinks. The prices were not reasonable in comparison to most small city sushi places. I would have expected these prices at a small sushi place in Dallas, not Decatur. Next, the food. Opened my container of food and Immediately the smell hits me. It was a loud smell. The crab and fish was not fresh. We arrived when the doors opened at 11am, so I am only assuming from the smell that this was left over from previous days. Now, the last issue, the salad with sushi entree. They literally cut a head of iceberg lettuce then sliced, diced and threw it in a small bowl. No tomatoes, Cucumber, carrots, croutons, cheese, nothing. Just cut up iceberg lettuce for $4! I guess when you from a small town and don't know any better, that you think this is a 4 star restaurant. Nope. I would recommend for you to keep driving and wait until you get to a larger city with more sushi options. I want...
Read moreIf you want actual service and good food, don’t come here. Walked in and was handed a menu and said sit wherever you want then come back to checkout to order. Quite strange to not have an actual server. Ordered a roll and the steak hibachi. Fried rice is $2 extra but tasted mostly like white rice. Salad comes with ranch dressing which is a first for me. Miso soup was ok but had very little tofu or seaweed in it. Mostly juice. The sushi was the only thing keeping this at two stars. Was actually very good. Ordered my steak medium rare and came out almost too rare to eat with no flavor. Two girls at front seemed more interested in whatever social media app they were looking at which is probably why guests have to go to them to order. Sign at the register says prices have increased and not on the menu. Sign was old so I’m assuming they just charge what they want. Not worth $40 for one person at all. Unless I want the sushi, I definitely...
Read moreI wanted to like this place. My daughter and I love Asian food, and we've have enjoyed good meals at various other Asian restaurants and lots of good sushi too. However, the only thing here we liked was the Honeymoon appetizer. We ordered two types of sushi, and both tasted worse than grocery store sushi. Both types of sushi were crammed together in one to-go container. To top it off, there was a hair on one of the rolls! What's worse is that it didn't look like a human hair, but rather a cat or dog hair. I couldn't finish the sushi. We also ordered Kung Pao Chicken, and it was breaded...which surprised me. Either they gave us the wrong meal or it is just an unusual version. But, I've never had Kung Pao made with breaded chicken. Kind of ruined it for me. Also, no prices are adjusted yet on the menu, so you don't know how much they have raised them, and it was expensive for the poor quality of food... We won't...
