TLDR; DO NOT GO HERE!
It doesn’t matter if you have to drive hours more. Do it.
I can’t possibly describe the level of poor management, customer service and interpersonal skills encountered here. Simply unbelievable.
I came to get a little practice along my road trip. That was not possible. DO NOT GO HERE
The bowling: the lanes were dirty and had no oil. It was 9am, the heads had visible ball marks, hair and dirt even with it in “cosmic bowling” lighting. I approached the counter to ask if they knew the lanes had no oil and they replied that they were oiled last night. I told them that the machine might be broken or nozzles clogged but whatever the case, there was no oil. They wouldn’t hear it.
Let me explain: I brought 6 balls knowing I might face any kind of condition and a really used condition would have been fine. There was NO CONDITION. Lofting the left gutter and targeting ANYWHERE the ball would overhook and go in the left gutter. The only playable ball was plastic between 5th and 6th arrow and keeping it flat. It was still reading in the first 15ft, but could at least stay on the lanes.
The management didn’t care to hear it or see it. Just kept claiming that it was oiled. Unwilling to have even the shortest conversation with me, I abandoned the hope of a meaningful practice and tried to close out.
The catch: I used my credit card. I was not warned up front, but you must spend at least $10 to use a card and they’re unapologetic about their lanes, their attitudes or their greed. So, I paid $10 to be treated rudely, given an unplayable condition and sent on my way. It’s possible that there’s a sign somewhere… maybe dozens of signs… but every patron before me in line was told the same thing and to a man everyone was aghast at the minimum. “That’ll be $3. There’s a $10 minimum.” I just told them to charge me $10 and that was FINE WITH THEM.
This place needs to be torn down or bought and the employees let go. This situation is unbelievable.
In short: DO...
Read moreNot happy with service or food. Had to wait 10 minutes for Bartender to finish putting booze away and we were the only 3 in there. Ordered 3 burgers all well done. Only one was well done. One was medium and one was rare. But we each wanted frenchfries with our burgers. They made 3 batches together which was fine but one plate was served with the majority of fries on it and other two plates had just a few. The kicker was thst these plain greasy frenchfries were $5each costing us $15 dollars just for the fries. This is a ridiculous price for a few frenchfries. I have ate in some pretty classy places and had much better fries for half the price. Not happy with service or food or the high cost of bowling alley...
Read moreWhat a great establishment. I've been around bowling alleys my entire life and this establishment will always hold a good memory. The food here is amazing. It is not your old generic good menu. These peeps put creativity and thought into their food and menu. I highly recommend the spicy cheese curds. I've loved in Wisconsin my entire life and have NEVER seen spicy cheese curds on a menu. Well done! The owner literally sat and chatted with us for awhile which is always nice, especially during these tough times of Covid. We are going to try their fish fry this weekend! Cod, walleye and perch.... Where can you go...
