It is my first experience at Wolleys. I ordered 2 steak tacos and corn on a stick. When I first walked in, there were kids everywhere, no adult, and they were flipping bottles and running around. There were 3 teenage girls behind the counter. The young black girl seemed to be doing all the clean up work and she diligently stayed on top of what she was doing. She even had manners when she past by me. I was super impressed by her. The girl that took my order rang the order up correctly. The girl that was in charge of making the food....what a mess. She was in shorts, hair in messy bun. It literally looked like she just woke up from a nap. She said the griddle wasn't working, she couldn't find the steak, she had no clue! Then to top everything off she was pulling her shorts down between her legs because they kept riding up and scratching her head and was not wearing any safety gloves. I had to keep an eye on her with my food and it ended up that the girl that rang me up pit on gloves and prepared my food. That was probably the only good part of this experience. However, my corn was cold like it just came out of the fridge and it took them to make 2 tacos and 1 corn on the stick over 30 minutes. Not good at all. I will never be back. I get that this is supposed to be like a kids hang out and all but the least you can do is serve food that is not contaminated by dead flaky skin cells from under your fingernailsfrom scratching any part of your body. We MUST do better in the fast food world than this right here. NEVER AGAIN GOING TO WOOLEYS IN DEFOREST! HEALTH...
Read moreIve been scoping this place out for months and finally tried it! This is a wonderful business with wonderful workers who are very friendly. I love seeing a smiling face and hear a "good morning" right as I walk through the door. I didnt feel rushed as it was my first time. The main lady who helped me was excited for me to try their flavored soda and even mentioned that they take recommendations for different flavors as well. I love a business who takes constructive feedback from their customers!
I got 2 green chili chicken tamales and a strawberry shortcake sprite, which indeed tasted just like it! My buddy got a caramel iced coffee and we both loved that as well.
I love that they provide local small business merchandise and other items to purchase in their...
Read moreVery colorful, warm, and homey place. Definitely has a family atmosphere which I loved. It was my first time and I had ordered a breakfast taco for $4.00 and a coffee. Coffee was good as was the breakfast taco. Service was quick and employees there very friendly. The only downside I could see was breakfast taco was very small for $4.00 price (egg, potato, cheese). For a mini tortilla I'd price it at no more than $2.50 with cheese. I DO understand though that smaller shops need to have a bit more increased pricing to compete with larger chains. I'd definitely be back to try out other dishes. I also loved all the candy options as well as the handmade pottery,...
