Verizon — Local services in Delta

This is, hands down, the worst Verizon store I’ve ever been to, corporate or retailer. They’re curt, making their customer service bottom of the barrel, and they just randomly close early. When I showed up at 6:50 to get a new phone ordered before they closed at 7:00, the door was locked. So I called just to make sure that the hours I found online and on their door were correct and someone surprisingly answered. This is how that went….

Confused, because I was kind of expecting an automated system to find the hours of the store. I said, “Oh, hi. Do you guys not close at 7?” “No, we do.” “But it’s not 7 and the doors are locked.” “Yeah.” “So you just randomly close early?” “Yeah.” …….. “Is there anything else I can help you with?” “No, I guess I’ll go buy my phone somewhere else.” “Okay.”

I managed 3 Verizon retailer locations in Salt Lake for 4 years. I would have been mortified if my store/employee had an interaction like that. I have purchased many phones and accessories from this store over the last 3 years .charged me for a cloud service that I specifically stated I did not want and then would not refund my money within the first 14 days after I noticed the unwanted charge. Horrible customer service! The screen protectors are a joke too. They charged me $35 dollars for a screen protector that they said had a lifetime warranty and when I went back to get it replaced they wanted me to pay again. Just buy it off amazon for $7. Four years ago I got amazing service and care from the people at this store and gave a 5 star review. Now due to dishonest practices and poorly trained people I won't even give them any stars. I'm extremely upset that I had to drive not once but twice up north to Spanish fork and orem to supposedly set up a 5g internet gateway only to find out that it wouldn't work and honestly isn't even ethical. I'm searching for a new carrier in delta that hopefully will be honest and trustworthy. SHAME ON YOU...
