Charming little Mexican restaurant! Great atmosphere, friendly people! We shared the big nachos, very good! We also tried the cheesecake, delish! They also had carrot cake and a couple other types of desserts. We tried three of their salsas, mild to hot, loved the flavors! Salsa is available in a buffet style kiosk. Easy parking just off the main road. Good chips and salsa while we waited for our food. Great place to eat driving through!

Authentic Mexican food in the middle of nowhere. Unexpectedly amazing. The place is clean, plenty of seating for dining in (w/TVs to watch sports) plus drive thru window for ordering out. Friendly service. Amazing food. Tried the chicken taquitos w/rice & beans, salsa and guacamole. 5 stars delicious. Definitely worth a repeat visit again and again. Want to try the whole menu!

Found this little gem by accident , but what a great find it was. It is family owned and operated and they treat you like a friend. When you have The name "Taco Shop" you better have some great authentic Tacos, and they didn't disappoint. Basic setup, but oh when done right, it's like getting a kiss from the Taco gods.

The owners daughter don’t know how to take orders. We ordered a larger carne asada fry and she gave us a small carne asada fry. It’s not that hard to remember when y'all literally put the orders in the computer. She also only gave us one coke when we ordered two. She also gave us no sauce we asked for 5 by the way, there is none to be found in the bag. Last time we went here she messed up then too we asked for the chicken plate and she gave us the pulled pork plate like how do you mess that up. I get that she’s the owners daughter but she needs to be fired, who knows how many other peoples orders she messed up. She needs to go because she’s obviously not good at taking orders. I’m getting tired of her not getting my orders right when it’s in the computer, it doesn’t take a genius to go and look on the computer to see what that person ordered if she forgot but she chooses not too because she gets special treatment because her parents are the owners. The parents obviously didn’t train her because if they did she wouldn’t be messing up every single order. She is not the brightest of the bunch so she needs...

The atmosphere and service were good, but the food took a turn for the worse. Lets start with the chips and salsa. The chips tasted like they may have been a great value or dollar store brand and the salsa tasted like tomato sauce with cilantro. Nothing about the chips and salsa said fresh. I ordered a Horchata which was actually the best part of the meal. I also had the Carne Asada which unfortunately was a big disappointment. The meat was fatty in the wrong way, over cooked, and without any flavor. After giving it 3 bites, I could not take any more. The rice and beans were also flavorless. This was not by any means a Mexican food place if you have had the real thing or even a less impressive Tex-Mex. I don't think I will be back, and will have to try the other Mexican food places in town. Hopefully they can improve their food to a more...

This is a walk-up and order-at-the-counter establishment and then servers bring your food to the table. At least in theory. One might expect it would be ready in 5 minutes or less, but 20-minutes went by and still nothing. Checked at the front counter to inquire and the tacos were under a heat lamp for what appeared to be a long time. The tacos were very dry.

Perhaps this was an off night since their ratings are generally pretty decent.

When the tacos were ordered, it was an hour before closing. It seemed that the staff was focused on cleaning by then and not serving customers. The strong smelling solution used to clean the floors while I was eating was not a welcome addition...
