I went there to get a new phone for my husband. The representative sold me on 2 phones saying that the total price for both was cheaper than the monthly installment for my current phone. I paid my old phone off so we could get the supposed deal. I was also told that my plan was obsolete and that I was paying more than I would if I switched to a newer plan. I told the rep that I was happy with my plan and that I was very reluctant to change it because I have been lied to by AT&T store reps before. But the rep assured me that my bill would be a little lower than it was before and I would have the same coverage. My first bill comes in, and aside from the normal upgrade fees, my bill is $130.00 more than it was before. I called the store and he told me that I need to call AT&T because he couldn't help me. I called AT&T and they confirmed that I was put on a much more expensive plan than I was on prior and that I can not go back to my old plan. Aside from that, the rep set up my phone with the wrong Gmail account. I had to chamge accounts and then go through and modify/change my apps. Not only was set up difficult attempting to install a SIM card that manager failed to properly explain, after activation was complete. We also got an upgrade, which account was due for, and ran into an issue with two watch lines being activated, as we was told was a must, and not explained why, but then have to go thru customer service, via phone, to find out the watch that was supposedly free after a buy one get one free samsing promotion, still have to manage to pay an installment monthly fee that we was unaware about, of course, which would have prompted us to reject the promotion,being that its usless to have multiple lines on one account with only using one phone.
