Deltona Ice Cream — Restaurant in Deltona

This place has HORRIBLE customer service!! Don't believe me call and place the same concern listed below and see for yourself how it is handled. *Last night I went there to take my children to eat ice cream at 9:30 PM and the dinning area/inside was closed. There were signs that clearly stated that the inside closes at 10:00 PM. There was a sign stating to use the drive through service. My children were extremely disappointed as they wanted to sit inside and enjoy their ice cream. The sign clearly stated that the dining room closes at 10:00pm. It was bothersome to find the doors locked. When going to the drive through I brought it to the attention of the young lady attending the window and she went on to explain that they close the dinning area/inside at a quarter to 10 which at that point it still was not a 1/4 to 10. I suggested they change the signs as this is inaccurate information. I received multiple blank stares from her and expressed the feeling of disappointment and I also pointed out what the sign stated. So as a responsible consumer I called the store today and ask to speak to a manager. The staff member went on to say that the manager was not available and she insisted I speak to her. She then said she handles the calls and that the store owner does not call anyone back. I expressed what happened the night and I suggested the signs be changed. This woman's attitude was just down right nasty and rude! She went on to say that they will not change the signs and that's that! she explained the same that they close the dinning room earlier then 10 pm so I went on to express again that the sign states otherwise. This woman was down right rude and unprofessional. I was the one trying to keep the peace during the conversation as she was extremely hostile. At one point I stated "No darling your not understanding" and her reply was "Did you just call me Darling? Yeah well I will give the owner your message" I asked her if it offended her that I called her darling as it is a term of endearment and she repeated she will give the owner my message I then asked her to add that I did not appreciate the way she treated me and to please add that to my message as well. I have never received a call back from an owner. It is extremely sad to know that this business that operates in my community can treat their customers so horribly. I have gone into much detail as I hope to raise awareness to other consumers that intend to visit this establishment after 9:30 PM I recommend you go else where. Save your money and go to the supper market and have an ice cream buffet for the money you will spend there. Best wishes and...

Was with the family we wanted to go out to get some ice cream so we went to Deltona Ice Cream where we go on occasion. My wife wanted to share a banana spit and my boys wanted ice cream cones. My Wife tells the dude at the counter all vanilla and light on the chocolate. When we get the split it 2 scoops of chocolate and 1 scoop of vanilla. we don't like chocolate ice cream so I ask my wife to tell them to correct it. When my wife tell the lady to correct she said you said light on the chocolate my wife tells her no i said i wanted all vanilla and light on the chocolate topping. She tells my wife "Am not making another one i will scoop out the chocolate and give it write back. My wife agree mean while am livid cause i want what we asked for and already paid for but i say nothing until my wife brings back the split and there it is chocolate ice cream in the middle the lady only took out one scoop "really". so this time i take it back to the counter and say excuse me mam we ask for all vanilla and i would like what we ask for ...this is where it gets nasty.. she takes the split out of my and and slams it in the sink.. not placed or put it.. slammed it in the sink while telling me she (My wife) said light on the chocolate not no chocolate..keep in mind there where 2 scoops of chocolate given to us in a "vanilla banana split" I told her with that nasty as attitude she can keep that split and put where the sun don't shine...i asked her if she was the owner she replied no .. i said that a good thing cause your F^&*ing service sucks. I asked my family to get up and let go... I have never been so disrespected in my life by the manner in which this lady treated me.. Over a banana split.. The lack of customer service in which i was treated and the way her attitude escalated in to acting out due to me asking for what i have already paid for to be corrected was so bad. I will never go back to this place. and if your the owner please reply i would like to speak with you. This was terrible experience for me and my family and i was very upset that my boys had to see me speak to a lady this way.. in front...

Arrived at the drive thru at 9:15, had about 6 cars ahead of us at 9:55 the car in front of us pulled up to the window and waited looking in got out the car and looked in. I can only assume the workers were looking at her as they cleaned up and at 9:59 the turned the lights off. I have gone to this place since I was a kid when it was Rodeo Whip, the ice cream is great but that is 100% rude and unacceptable. I guess forget the fact that people have been waiting in line for over 45+ mins. How about you close your drive thru at 9 so that you don't have a line going down Elkcam. If you know it takes 10-20 minutes for you to complete an order plan accordingly. But shutting everything down right in front of a customer will definitely cost you. I don't plan on returning here again. I see you keep stating that an employee was attacked then get security or a bar that goes down when you are about to close. You definitely need better lighting but that's not a concern to you clearly. I see you stated that many stores adjusted their hours due to the pandemic, you're only open 8 hours not from 7am-10pm...
