New China Wok — Restaurant in Deltona

I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl so about 20 years now maybe even more and i’m now in my late twenties and really never had these issues here before. I was running later then usual because of a family emergency and they called 8 times within 20 minutes of my order being done which is borderline harassment then when I pick up my food theres an older woman literally screaming at what looks to be a 12 year old girl behind the counter so clearly a red flag and weird regardless of it being family owned it was extremely unprofessional and she’s literally a child working. No over reaction here either this lady was literally yelling at this poor girl in whatever native language they speak, i’m assuming she was yelling at her because I picked my food up late but regardless I was there and paid right so what the heck? Extremely unprofessional and it’s disappointing considering it’s the only really good chinese place around.. of course i’ll keep ordering here but this experience was ridiculous and so unprofessional and uncomfortable. I literally had to block china woks number because of the amount of times they called me and I was literally only 20 minutes late for pick up.

I see you replied so i’m editing my comment with proof of you calling a ridiculous amount of times, 4 in ten minutes alone with this screen shot..this isn’t even all the call log from you there is more but it only allows me to upload one photo. I also do not think it’s appropriate to be addressing these personal matters around your customers especially if you’re yelling. Please hold accountability for the unprofessionalism...

Ordered sesame chicken, bourbon chicken, generals chicken and Mei fun. The bourbon chicken was breaded with orange peels...hello that's orange chicken and it tasted musty moldy or something. Generals chicken and sesame chicken looked identical except the sesame chicken had a few sesame seeds sprinkled on the top, the generals tasted exactly the same. Not enough sauce in the bottom of the container to even dress up the dry fried rice.

I called and they admit the orange chicken bourbon chicken was their error but they were very busy today and the general and sesame chicken very popular and no one else has complained. They were willing to make a free meal but I'm seriously not interested when she said they all share the same sauce because that's how they do it when they're busy. I told them to save it, it was $38.02 wasted, not one of the three of us could eat it and I don't think it's gonna taste different if it's all the same sauce. Lost three customers and from now on we'll drive to Orange City and order from Oriental Garden where in over 10 years I've never gotten a bad meal nor have they all looked and tasted the same, shares the same sauce nor has it EVER tasted musty or moldy or whatever that gross taste was.

I simply wasn't willing to eat more than my half piece of generals chicken and chance an ER trip later. The Mei fun was ok if you could handle the over abundance of soy sauce you had to use for it to have ANY flavor. I'd give it zero...

If I could put negative stars I would. The young lady in front is very rude. I called to place an order, she just kept trying to end the conversation while I was placing mg order. Then when I ask how much it is she ignores me completely and proceeds to end the call. I'm thinking eh they must be busy, so I called back and asked for the price or my order, then hung up. Once I got to the establishment they told me that I never placed an order, since they couldn't find it on the computer. The young lady at the front was just skeptical from the start. So I left went to my car and tried again. This time I called once or twice while I was waiting to make sure they had my order. Now I'm headed home hoping that they even got it right. First and last time I will ever come here. If you want decent service this is not a place I recommend I'm not even sure about how the food tastes yet but we shall see. Maybe they have had a long day, maybe its been a rough day. Either way they've lost me as a customer...
