I've lived in this neighborhood for over a year but never got around to checking this place out until yesterday. Should have listened to my instincts and stayed away. If my car wasn't in the shop I would have, but decided to try it since it's the only thing in walking distance that isn't a gas station. Yesterday morning I purchased (among a few other things) two packs of flour tortillas and only used one single tortilla when I got home to make breakfast. This morning when I went to use another one I noticed that beyond the top (visible) one nearly every single other tortilla in the pack had huge spots of mold. The other pack was the same way. Upon closer inspection of the bag it has neither a manufacture date or a "best by" date. So I walked up there again. The first employee I spoke to went to get "the boss" (his words), but the second "gentleman" seemed less interested in their establishment selling moldy rotten food and more in how I got in (the front door was open, I didn't dig a tunnel or repel down from the ceiling). He tried to brush me off with a weak excuse of "no manager is here" (so how did you all get in? Do they just leave the front door open overnight? Likely not, so someone with keys aka a key holder WAS there) and I decided I'm not walking up here a third time over $8 worth of tortillas. How poorly does your operation have to be run for a Mexican grocery store to not even get FLOUR TORTILLAS right? In the future I'll just save myself time, money, and a headache and just go to Kroger.

Enjoyed this Mexican Market. Friendly people, very clean, colorful market with Hispanic amenities ie.. food, drinks, & potty. Absolutely love this place! I think you will too. 😁😁👍 this review, I gave them a few years ago when I first walked into the store, walked in the store today and it still holds true, wonderful mexican grocery store, you guys are still gonna love it..👍👍🤣

They have all your Latino foods from beef tripe to yucca. The marinated fajita to tablitas are great, in my opinion better than Michoacana, Fiesta, or Rancho.

I've never had such a horrible experience as today. First of all, my mom and I came shopping here on a Wednesday morning and the crew were so nice and friendly. So we came back today, Saturday morning and it was a complete flop. There was a young guerita who served us in the meat market and she was very rude. My mom asked her what was the difference between this and that, then she relayed it to me. My mom and I were discussing it but the girl kept repeating herself so much it became unbearable. We were deciding which carnitas to get but the girl kept pestering and blaring at us the same thing when we have moved on and were deciding which to get. She must be new, she was being taught the difference between the meats as she was telling us what it was. So she was not even correct when telling us the difference first of all. Then when we were done with her, we went to check out. My receipt says Alejandra S. She checked us out and was rude and gross as well. She did not have any hospitality and said the conveyor belt did not work. We were like...OK. so we just pushed it forward. We didnt care about that. Then she kept tossing and throwing things in the counter, even our fruit. So great, now they are bruised. Even our glass bottled drinks were not put down in a good manner. When handing us our receipt, she didnt even acknowledge us at that point. We are not coming back on a weekend, but we will chance it on a weekday because the people were so much kinder than today. I really hope other customers are not experiencing this because it is very belitteling. How...

This was my first time at this location, and i will not be back. Even though they have a good selection of meats and produce. The customer service at this store is rude and lacking. I was there today around noon. It was not at a busy time when I went. In the meat department the person behind the counter was extremely rude to me, and jumped down my throat when I asked if he spoke English. Asking someone if they speak English isn't a rude question. Plus the worker chewed me out for a about a minute before he asked me what I needed. Which they didn't have. In my experience at the other location they have workers that do not speak English or speak English well.

When I went to the check out line, the only register with a light on, that was unattended. I waited there for awhile before someone to check me out while they talked to a Co worker, and even she was rude when I asked if the chorizo that's sold in bulk by the pound was good quality.

I do not or have nit had any of these bad customer service issues at the other store on 35. While the other store on 35 I'd always usually busy, crowded, and with poor parking I would rather drive across town...

The first time I went there I gave it a good review according to the few items I bought, I made 2 or 3 trips and I'm very disappointed and mad how are they allowed to raise the prices ridiculously high, 32 Oz of chihuahua shredded cheese is 7 dls higher than Walmart, I'm making tamales, I want to Walmart bought a pack masa maseca brand for a 1.00 on sale, morrel lard 4 lbs blue bucket on sale for 2 dls they ran out of corn husk reluctantly went to Azteca only because is on the way home and I had to be home by 9:00 am, corn husk pack 8.99 dls, the same exact masa 5.39 dls. The owner is a thief, sure you don't have to buy it is that how they get away from robbing people? Everything on the shelves is more expensive than anywhere else. Meat and vegetables are reasonable that's it. I avoid going to Azteca I refuse to let the owners take my hard earned little money, if you are struggling and trying to make ends meat, watching every penny you spend don't go to Azteca I'm still mad that unfortunately today I had important thing to take care of and had to go Azteca I'm giving it one star only because I can't post without rating it or...
