I only have positive things to say about Kickin' It! I've been taking my son to Kickin' It since he was about 6-months old to the weekly Mommy & Me classes. He is now 14-months old and loves playing at the gym. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. The coaches are so sweet and engaging with the kiddos. My son loves the Mommy & Me class, especially the group song at the beginning, and it's been wonderful watching him growâfrom crawling to standing to walking (and I'm sure running soon enough!)âhere.
I appreciate that when you book a class you also have access to the indoor playground all day. Big plus, you can drop in for a day fee and come-and-go as you please. This is really helpful on cold or rainy days, especially compared to other indoor gyms that require reservations or time slots. I'm excited for my son to join the 1-2 year-old class they offer soon. They also have memberships available, which I'm sure we'll sign up for!
This facility is always clean and they have staff cleaning up regularly. It's a great way for my son to socialize, play with other kiddos, and run around in a safe and fun environment. We're so lucky Kickin' It is our neighborhood...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at this indoor playground. When registering online, I was asked for my age, which seemed unnecessary. After calling, I was told I could leave it blank and wouldnât be charged since my baby is under 9 months old. However, the system still required my age and charged me. When I contacted them again, they admitted I was given incorrect information but said they would issue a refund, as they charge for babies 8 months and older.
Once inside, I was shown the designated baby area, which was supposed to be separated by a small fence to keep older kids out. Unfortunately, this didnât work at allâolder kids kept running in, jumping around, and even throwing baby toys out while my little one was trying to crawl. I politely asked one parent to intervene, but he dismissed my concerns, pointing to a sign saying kids should âhave fun.â
The front desk staff were kind and acknowledged the issue, saying they would work on better signage for the baby area. However, the experience was already frustrating. I appreciate their willingness to improve, but for now, I wouldnât recommend this place for babies who need a safe...
Read moreWent once and it was a claustrophobic experience. They don't enforce the 100-person limit, which in itself is probably too many people for such a small play area. When I inquired about maximum capacity they said they stop selling tickets to walk-ins once they hit their max which they indicated they were at. Then they suggested having members of our party hang out in a nearby coffee shop for a while until things leveled out (keep in mind we purchased our tickets in advance for a specific time). During our brief visit they admitted several walk-in people, as the crowd continued to grow. Essentially, this is a place that prioritizes profit over people's safety and overall experience. I have been to about ten of these indoor play concepts around the country and this was both the most crowded and smallest space. Kids Wonder does a better job of limiting guest count. Giving Kickin' It two stars because it seemed clean on the whole, but that is likely more due to it being newer.
