Read moreLove this huge park. Stretches from Holly to Monaco, and Mississippi Ave all the way to Cherry Creek and the Bike/walking path to the south. Large tennis court area, as well as a bunch of baseball diamonds, all with lighting for the night time games. Volleyball is huge here in the summer both evenings and weekends. There is a sand pit with space for at least 2 games, a long with the open field space, where the masses play with equipment brought from home. Big play area for the kids, restrooms with running water, paved sidewalks meandering through, and Lollipop Lake, home to flocks of waterbirds with springtime babies, and my personal favorites, the cormorants come here to fish in the summer. People fish here too. As of 02/23 big construction happening at the park. Large part of park, as well as the lake are closed...
